The Spending Plan For Successful People by Nobody: 9:28am On Mar 24, 2015
The Spending plan
Verses to ponder on:
Matthew 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower,
sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he
have sufficient to finish it?
29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not
able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to
finish.
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king,
sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able
with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with
twenty thousand?
Words to ponder on:
“Real money is not the paper you carry around, real money
is value, you don’t see the real thing with your physical eyes”
“When you define wealth by the materials it makes it easier
for the devil to make you to believe you are poor”
“Planning is the key to winning”
“You must develop the ability to sit down and to calculate”
“You must make it a habit to hold pen and paper, so you can
calculate your future”
[Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write
the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run
that readeth it.]
To fight the spirit of poverty you must have a spending plan,
to know how much is coming in and how much is going out
“Planning gives you control over the future”
“Planning is one of the major habits or characteristics of
successful people”
The natural habits of prosperous people is: Saving,
Investment and Giving.
TO START A SPENDING PLAN; Write down all your income in
the next 30 days and all your expenses in the next 30days.
Something like this: Heading= Income
Under income; Salary, + Investment, + Gift + and if there is
any other means money comes in
TOTAL=
Heading= Expenses
Under expenses: Tithe, Taxes, Savings, Rent, home
maintenance, Food, Transport, School/Childcare,
Entertainment, clothing, debt, medicals and miscellaneous
TOTAL=
Make sure you take note of everything you use your money
for
At the end of the day add up your total income and add up
your total expenses and subtract Total Expenses from Total
income
Know your state and take practical steps to walk yourself out
of financial failure.
Developing Wealth Building Habit
1. Spend less than you earn
[prov.21: 20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the
dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.]
2. Exercise the discipline to cut off expenses when the
money is not there.
3. Is not everything you must buy
4. You cannot solve everybody's problem [if you want to
claim you are Elshadai, then you will know that your
nickname is I shall die]
5. Save, invest and give to the needy.
Above all you need the mercies of GOD.
Quotes
People buy things they don't need, with money they don't
have, to impress people they don't even like.
If your outgo exceed your income, your upkeep will be your
downfall
