General Buhari's Grand Plan For The Power Sector by iHaveDecided: 12:22pm On Mar 24, 2015
We have previously examined the immense growth which will be experienced in our industries once the government of Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo come into power on May 29th, 2015. All these bold ideas may not translate into reality if the problems plaguing our power sector are not tackled squarely.

The All Progressive Congress led government which will be voted into power this weekend has a great plan for the electricity sector which will bring to reality power generation, transmission and distribution a 24/7 basis by 2019. While all these are being done, the development of sustainable/renewable energy by the same death will also be in the works.

APC's plan for the electricity sector will see power generated, transmitted & distributed on a 24/7 basis whilst ensuring the development of sustainable/renewable energy, by 2019. How is this going to be achieved?

• A Buhari led government will increase the current generation of 3800megawatts to 7000megawatts on or before December 2015.
• Increase electricity generation by a minimum of 3000megawatts annually so that by the end of 2019, the country would have reached the desired 20000megawatts
• Explore alternative sources of modern electricity generation such as solar, wind, etc.
Above are just some of the plans, the APC led government have mapped out for the electricity sector. Is it not very clear that CHANGE is HERE for real? Go out there come March 28th, 2015 and vote for General Muhammadu Buhari.
