Dear Friends,

I hold this truth to be self-evident that voting is a right and not a privilege.
This all important right should therefore be excercised in utmost good faith,with a sound and unbiased mind that is devoid of personal prejudice.

>Do not vote because someone is or is not from your tribe,ethnic group or region.
Tribal sentiments and ethnic bigotry create more problems than they help solve.

>Do not vote because someone shares or does not share the same religious belief with you.
The greatest crisis in the word today is caused by religious intolerance,extremism and fanatism.

>Do not vote because of financial inducement or flamboyant gifts.
Those things are trivial and cannot stand even the simplest test of endurance.

>Do not vote because of someone's numerous credentials or lack of credentials.
Many successful people did not get formal education and many well educated people are not successful.

>Do not vote because of someone's facial or physical appearance and posture.
The heartbeat of a man is not shown by the construction of his face and not all that glitters is gold.

>Do not vote because you feel someone is successful in life.
Some people inherited success,others achieved success,some other people obtained success by force and
yet others picked-up success from other people's misfortune.

>Do not vote beacuse your friends,colleagues,relatives or enemies support or do not support a candidate.
Friends and colleagues are not always right.They have their own prejudice too.

>Do not vote because someone employed all forms of wily methods and tactics to confuse and convince you that
"In his victory,there is solution to all human needs and problems"
Human wants are insatiable and the resources to satisfy them are scarce in relation to quantities demanded.
Some alternatives must be forgone in pursuit of other ends.

>Vote according to your conscience.A good conscience is nurtured by truth.
Every truth is guided by principles and every principle is a creation of conviction.
Conviction is a product of knowledge and wisdom.God is the sole giver of knowledge and wisdom.

>Do not let your God and conscience judge you.
The difference between God and man is that;God gives,gives and forgives but man gets,gets and forgets.
