Open Letter To Southern Muslims
March 25, 2015

My Dear Fellow Nigerians and Muslims of The South,

I greet you all from the depth of My heart with divine love. The 2015 general elections will soon hold across Nigeria. As the build-up to the polls heightens amid bogus accusations and wild threats from contesting parties, I deem it pertinent to reach-out specially to you all – the Muslim population of Southern Nigeria.

The history of politics in Nigeria since 1914 is replete with narratives of betrayal, tribalism, sectarianism, roguery and violence. These odds clearly portray our society as a besieged nation. From all the promises made by aspiring Nigerian politicians since Buckingham Palace approved the amalgamation of its so-called Southern and Northern Protectorates (of Nigeria), the Nigerian beneficiaries have been a few privileged indigenous elites who learnt an enormous lot from the British about how to cultivate the spirit of selfishness and wickedness and how to use it callously to enrich personal pocket. Post-independence Nigeria has undoubtedly been a most dis-appointing and very pathetic geo-political case as a result of the irresponsible practices of its dubious, self-serving and rancorous politicians.

Several decades ago, Othman Dan Fodio ran a campaign of conquest under the auspices of Islam, in the name of Allah.

Soul Of Islam

Like the many divine saviours before and after him, Mohammed was the physical manifestation of The Creator (Allah) who preached unconditional love. He openly encouraged humans to live peacefully together, irrespective of class, creed or colour. He abhorred oppression and condemned exploitation. His passion was divine and focused on the unification of mankind while revealing the divine knowledge of life to as many who recognized him and embraced his teachings. Today, most of his edifying legacies have been distorted and reduced to theological mechanisms for driving selfish ambitions.

Religion And The Presidential 2015 Election

The forthcoming 2015 elections have once again got rival contestants lodged in their respective trenches with all manner of assault weapons, including religion, in their possession. Religion has always played a crucial role in politics. It is an easily usable raw material for mobilizing support and assault.

Political campaigns in Nigeria are characterized by these two contrasting conducts. The 2015 presidential election has expectedly provided the logical basis for the perpetration of both as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Peoples Congress (APC) engage themselves in the public domain in their respective quest for victory.

It is certainly not out of place for Me say that Yorubas make-up Southern Nigeria’s largest number of Muslims. This follows that allusion to Islamic sentiments in Nigeria’s South within the context of Year 2015 presidential election is essentially an appeal to Yoruba sense of political judgment.

Welcome To Yorubaland!

The history of Yorubland is comprised of chapters of both interesting and shocking accounts of how Islam penetrated its constituent ‘nations’ and became an integral component of its modern-day socio-cultural whole. Authentic world history identifies Yorubaland; precisely Ile-Ife, as the geographical birthplace of mankind. From Yorubaland, mankind commenced its global spread, creating flourishing nations and establishing great empires, ultimately reaching the stage of building the great Atlantis Civilization which catastrophically collapsed under the intense weight of extreme negativity! Part of the by-products of that karmic consequence are the light-skinned races of the world. In other words, Europeans and Arabs are products of the submergence of Atlantis by the great deluge which struck during the messianic reign of Kofi Manu (a.k.a Noah) in present-day Ghana. Western historians, using modern scientific knowhow, identify the Fulanis (i.e. the Fula tribes) as genetic cousins of the white race.

Yorubas and the entire peoples of South-South, South-East and Middle-Belt of Nigeria (including the many other indigenous tribes of West Africa and as many of them who were extracted to chattel bondage in Europe and the Americas) are direct descendants of the great African pioneers of human civilization. In the blood and conscience of these indigenous Africans, the spirit of egalitarianism flows deep and strong in ways that constantly hold-out great potentials for profound African impact on planet earth!

Feudal Overlordship Vs Yoruba Egalitarianism

European history stands incomplete without the mention of its feudal eras of savage treatment of human-beings. The spirit of such European innocents as Joan of Arc cannot but attest to the gross inhumanities perpetrated by feudal European monarchs who derived power and authority from the head of the Catholic Church! European feudalism gave way to libertarian pressures following Europe’s contact with light in such places as Africa.

British colonial adventurism in Nigeria was quick to connect with the feudal culture of Northern Nigeria. The lifestyle of absolute and unquestioning submission to a few self-serving elites of total detachment from those over whom they preside was (and is still) synonymous with the Hausa/Fulani power-structure. This oppressive system made indirect rule viable in the North during the lifetime of direct British colonial presence in Nigeria. Hausa/Fulani trado-political elites were used as colonial proxies by the British to extract loyalty and revenue from Northern masses. The success of this rule in Northern Nigeria inspired its introduction to the Caribbean region against enslaved Africans! Undiluted details of the trans-Atlantic shipment and enslavement of black civilization hold that at least 60% of Africans extracted from Africa to Europe and the Americas were from Nigeria and that most of those ‘Nigerians’ were from present-day Southern Nigeria!

Traditional Yoruba society is very far from feudal. It is worth pointing-out that despite the establishment of Islam on Yoruba soil, the feudalization of Yoruba society has not occurred and will never happen! The primordial egalitarian spirit of Yoruba society is democratic and inconsistent with the Sokoto Caliphate’s appetite for oppression.

So far, the Sultan and his agents have successfully exploited Islamic sentiments in Yorubaland to mobilize campaign funds from prominent Yoruba Muslims for APC’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd). The idea of funding one’s democratic choice is not condemnable. It aligns with the values of democracy. However, Yorubas must be very careful not to allow awful history to repeat itself against Yorubaland and to the detriment of other egalitarian Nigerians!

There are countless Northern Nigeria Muslims who deserve the votes of all right-thinking Nigerians to successfully emerge as President of Nigeria. Such decent and upright Nigerians, like the millions of alamjiris that the Sokoto Caliphate’s idea of leadership has trans-generationally produced across Northern Nigeria, struggle at the mercy of institutionalized isolation and suppression!

My dear Muslims of Southern Nigeria, I urge you all to look and reason beyond periphery of cheap sentiments. I call on all Yorubas to realize that like other ethnic-nationalities of Nigeria, they owe our only Federal Republic the responsibility of standing on the side of equity and fairness on the country’s political turf! Anything short of this especially within the context of this year’s presidential elections amounts to licensing evil and its retrogressive concomitants to regain lost privileges in post-military Nigeria!

Thirty-Nine Years Vs Four Years

From 1960 to 1999, the Northern political oligarchy had Nigeria in its grip. Within this period, Nigeria rolled backward in every facet of its corporate existence. In the course of the dominant reign of the feudal powers of Northern Nigeria over our country, no public institution was spared the brigandage of the oligarchy and its Southern moral cowards.

President Goodluck Jonathan has so far spent four years as Nigeria’s number one citizen. When Northern powers led by the Sultan of Sokoto got convinced that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as President of Nigeria was not open to being their puppet, they dropped the Sharia bomb on his administration, among other attempts to sabotage his regime! In 2011 not long after President Jonathan was sworn in as our country’s political head, the same Northern powers who normatively classify Southern Muslims as inferior Nigerian adherents of Islam, threatened to make Nigeria ungovernable for the first Nigerian President to emerge from Niger-Delta, the deliberately neglected source of the billions of naira and hard currencies that Northern feudal authorities stole and spent freely for 39 years to Nigeria’s disgraceful degradation. A deep dig into British machinations in Nigeria will reveal London’s emphatic instruction to their Northern Nigerian proxies never to develop the Niger-Delta!

Four years ago, President Goodluck Jonathan swore to serve the people of Nigeria diligently. Unfortunately for the Jonathan administration, Northern Nigeria’s political oligarchs have used the period to attack, sabotage, dis-credit and frustrate its good intentions and meaningful efforts. Within the four-year period however, it is well-known that most of the development projects executed by the Jonathan administration are in the North. The Sultan and his boys do not recognize this truth. All they want is Nigeria in their grip! And to have their way, they are prepared to go as far as ‘blowing-up’ the country! Boko Harm was actually meant to provoke civil war in Nigeria. Good enough, in-line with My declaration as the physical embodiment of creation’s Highest Spiritual Entity, that satanic effort has been restricted to their part of the country by divine forces under My command!

What The Sultan Actually Wants

The Sultan of Sokoto wants to return the entire South of Nigeria to his ‘cage’! One of his strategies in this respect is the exploitation of Islamic sentiments in Yorubaland. This plan has the capacity to divide the South and consequently avail Northern political forces loyal to him the opportunity to politically re-conquer Southern Nigerians (i.e. South-West; South-South; and South-East). Since 1999, the Sultan’s hegemonic grip on Nigeria has been waning. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was the under-estimated Southern leader who courageously disappointed his post-Abiola pacifist one-term plan for the South(-West) which was meant to culminate in the return of Nigeria’s political power to the Caliphate!

South-West politicians owe the likes of late Herbert Macaulay, late Adegoke Adelabu (a.k.a ‘kpenkelemess’) and late Chief Obafemi Awolowo the exhibition of the Afrocentric consciousness and wisdom that checkmated British determination to perpetuate direct colonial bondage in Nigeria. The indirect rule that flourished in Northern Nigeria under British colonial overlordship is what prevailed in self-governing Nigeria under feudal Northern political domination for 39 years after Nigerian masses ignorantly celebrated the end of British colonial presence in their country on 1st October 1960!

The beginning of the end of indirect British colonization of Nigeria is a direct function of the country’s emancipation from the Sokoto Caliphate’s feudal grip! Every irresponsibility and crime that the Northern oligarchy has perpetrated and still executes against freedom and progress in Nigeria is rooted in Britain’s post-independence politico-economic architecture for our country. In simple language, the principal external factor behind Nigeria’s sustained retrogression is Britain, followed by America! To British authorities, the Sokoto Caliphate and its infernal Sultan are a vital neo-colonial tool for robbing, raping and stagnating the destined pivot for global black resurgence (i.e. Nigeria). The shift of Nigeria’s political power to the Niger-Delta disrespects Anglo-American alliance for country’s sustained stagnation and ultimate decimation or destruction! UK and US refusal to sell military weapons to Nigeria for the vanquishing of felonious Boko Haram mirrors their silent unhappiness with the loss of power by their principal goons in the country and their covert support for them (i.e. the Northern Nigeria’s political elite) to seize what they appear to have lost to the Niger-Delta region! In the course of Nigeria’s three-year civil war, British and US authorities enthusiastically supplied the country’s Northern-controlled government brand new weapons to visit genocide on freedom-seeking South-Eastern Nigerians. Harold Smith did state in his book (Blue Colar Lawman) that the British government decided to punish the South-West for asking for freedom in the 1950s by appointing Northern leaders to preside over Nigeria and to ensure the political and economic emasculation of South-Western Nigerians! Between 1967 and 1970, South-Eastern Nigerians got their own punishment in military fashion!

What has actually been happening since 2011 when Goodluck Jonathan became President is an escalation of the silent and sustained racial war of heinous global dimensions against black civilization in the Nigerian neo-colonial theatre! This needless Occidental attack on the nucleus human race of planet earth has the Hausa/Fulani feudal elite of Northern Nigeria operating as the blind and moronic agents of the war’s chameleonic Arab and Euro-American protagonists! The likes of late King Jaja of Opobo and the reigning Obong of Calabar of old unambiguously proved Niger-Deltans’ natural stubbornness against exploitation and oppression to British colonial rascals. The Sultan wants to re-take by force and deception what his Caliphate was mandated and generously equipped to hold forever! Power shift to the South, especially to the Niger-Delta region, is a re-play of a history that oppressive and exploitative Western powers hate to associate with. The Arab world on its part has, for a very long time, been enjoying massive flows of monies hijacked by kleptocratic Northern political hegemons from Nigeria’s Niger-Delta-based oil industry. Today, the future likelihood of the huge flows of free cash dropping drastically on the strength of the continuous retention of Nigeria’s political power in the South is real! The Sultan is playing-out a detailed script of conquest against Southern Nigerians in Nigeria’s de-militarized and steadily democratizing political theatre! Southern Muslims please wake-up!

Facts Don’t Lie: The Serpent In Buhari

I ask you all this very simple question: which is more important? Religion or freedom? If you all agree that the kennel of Prophet Mohammed’s divine legacy is LOVE; if you identify with the fact that Mohammed did not preach enslavement and retrogression; if you accept that the idea of denying fellow human-beings their rights is unGodly and un-Islamic, then you will agree with Me that the backwardness of the North relative to the South (of Nigeria) is a geographically extensive proof of the fact that the feudal authorities of Northern Nigeria as led by the Sultan of Sokoto are unprogressive and should not be entrusted with Nigeria’s fate until they begin to authentically manifest the values that have prospered such Islamic societies as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates; Oman, Bahrain and Qatar!

The societies mentioned above are Islamic. How come they are prosperous and the Sultan’s Sokoto and other Northern Nigerian territories over which he presides under the auspices of Islam are backward? What did Northern leaders do with all the billions they siphoned from Nigeria’s ‘Niger-Delta-dependent’ economy? Is it possible to give what you don’t have? The ubiquitous backwardness of Northern Nigeria in all its unquestioning subservience to the Sultan and his elite feudal comrades simply tells that all that the he has to offer Nigeria is retrogression! Is Islam synonymous with backwardness?

Muhammadu Buhari is on record to have threatened Nigeria with violence before and during Boko Haram’s guerilla mayhem. He is a known tool in the hands of a Sultan who shamelessly presides over backwardness in all his commitment to the same Islam that prosperous Kuwait practices! Facts available in the public domain tell of Buhari’s personal confrontation of the Governor of Oyo State in the wake of the State’s public outcry against the damage being done to farmlands by Fulani cattle herdsmen. Muhammadu Buhari precisely told the Governor not to provoke the outrage of the Sultan by taking any action against the Fulani herdsmen, saying that as a Muslim, the Governor should realize that every piece of land in Yorubaland belongs to the Sultan of Sokoto! The people of Niger-Delta are not Muslims. What business does the Sultan have with 83% of Nigeria’s oil wells located in the region ‘bound’ to him and his boys? It is obvious that the Sultan and the entire membership of his Caliphate are nothing more than a bunch of thieves and tyrants!

Authentic World History Beckons!

Contrary to widespread European accounts of world history, in West Africa lie the natural facts of the modest and tranquilous beginnings of mankind. For many years, Europeans have been running silent studies of their black African roots in West Africa. In the 1960s and 1970s, scores of Israeli scholars secretly travelled to eastern Nigeria (and parts of Ghana) to trace their roots! One of their subjects of interests was the religion of the Ashante people of Ghana for the purpose of finding out the similarities between Judaism and Christianity. Not long ago, the Alaafin of Oyo revealed that the Bible was originally written in Oyo language! This revelation corroborates uncelebrated research-findings which underscore Christianity in its original form as an African heritage!

@op i hail you for trying hard to wedge difference between south and north muslims. If it will help you, keep at it. If you most know the Muslims know better. Unlike Xtians, Muslims in Nigeria are losely organized. The sultan is merely a figure head. Unless something happens to galvanize Muslims nationally I doubt they simply obey the sultan at any instance. In short often times Muslims particularly in the north feel he is compromised by PDP. As such they would rather listen to there local Imams. As for the sultan he is trying very hard to accommodate and be indifferent. Examples are glaring if you are a muslim and live in the ummah. The Shia answer to only zazaky in Zaria. Gumi has his own congregation. Dahiru Bauchi come with his own congregation. You have numerous more groups in the south eg Nasfat and others!
This people are free to disagree with the sultan and to say he will cage anyone is a myth and purely mischievious. He can't even bring the northern Muslims to answer to him. Not to talk of Nigeria. Do not mistake NSCIA for an authority over muslims but a mere forum for Muslims across Nigeria sit and express things that affect them and present same to government. Sultan only commands JNI which is only relevant in some northern states. As you transverse states the membership varies.
The best thing is today ,the sultan decides to unite muslims accross the nation, not to be in servitude to him but to better understand there challenges and deal with them uniformly. Example is sighting of the moon. Before now it was done different in several areas across the nation. He came up with the drive for Muslims like in US or UK to have a committee to handle sighting and start of Ramadan. That too requires all zones to agree. Not imposed by one man. Again we as Muslims are guided by the message we get from Allah and his messengers. As such the lose cohesion in followship. The different ulamas pass decrees as they understand them. No mandatory followship exist in Islam leadership. Religiously you are expected to respect leaders but they are servant of the people and not lords over them.
Maybe the writer should first tell us the level of control the sultan has over Muslims of Nigeria? I assure you is not above 30%. So can he influence anything alone north or south in the name of Islam? Its a big no!
Stope living in ancient days and wake up. Royal families dont own big affairs in Nigeria anymore! The government and politicians do!

Conclusion
Change is progressive when it challenges retrogressive norms and standards. Society’s moral and ideological paradigm-shift from negativity to positivity is a gradual process that has always been viciously but fruitlessly attacked by those who profit from the destitution and sorrows of the innocent.

Islam is a legacy and a stage in man’s quest for reconnection with his Maker. Mohammed personified divine love and left behind enduring guidelines for its sustainable and acceptable practice. Yoruba political commonsense and moral conscience should serve the general good of all peace and progress-loving Nigerians and other Africans caught in the horrors of racism and bondage! Religion will find enormous respect where it compliments this noble objective.

The exercise of re-constructing battered nation is naturally characterized by sour and sweet experiences. Sometimes, its processes and administrators appear static, ineffective. Knowledge tells us that nothing is actually static. Every process, every change is dynamic. Life is more spiritual than physical!

Islamic theology informs of the coming of The Imam Mahdi on whose shoulders will rest the divine responsibility of liberating the oppressed and availing them real and lasting succor! The Sultan of Sokoto knows who Satguru Maharaj Ji truly is but the fact that his Caliphate is founded on coercion and conquest binds him (like did his predecessors) to any power and practice that nourishes its inhuman spirit and parasitic proclivities. Otherwise, his wealth of spiritual knowledge and the experiences of villains like General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd) in relation to Satguru Maharaj Ji are strong enough to propel him to announce the physical presence of the long-awaited Divine Saviour of mankind in Nigeria!

President Goodluck Jonathan is neither the gladiator that will slice off the neck of the hydra-headed monsters that have been tormenting Nigeria nor is he genius that will diametrically decipher and totally deconstruct the neo-colonial slave order in Nigeria! Jonathan is a human-being whose spirit tallies with the clement presidential temperament needed by Nigeria to escape the booby-traps of intense provocation bound to massive explosives of uncontainable anarchy and genocidal civil war as set against our country by foreign imperialist forces in tandem with members of the Northern political oligarchy headed by the Sultan of Sokoto! The Jonathan regime is a stage in a gradual process of de-colonization divinely set to run as a sequel to Chief Obasanjo’s post-military valour against Northern political hegemons in whose dirty pockets and filthy closets the golden destinies of millions of suffering Northern Nigerian masses are tucked!

Before Islam, Yorubas existed! Whenever the Afro-cultural origins of Christianity and Islam is brought to the awareness of the general indigenous populations of Africa, Yorubas will still be an integral part of the earth’s eternity whose right to divine bounties, like all other Africans, will remain the prerogative of decent conduct and good conscience. Mohammed’s divine teachings like those of Jesus are selfless, humanist, eternal and edifying. The Sultan’s dogmas and decrees are selfish, inhuman, transient and retrogressive. The Sultan of Sokoto is not the central personality of Islam! My dear Southern Muslims, as the 2015 presidential election draws near, I urge you all to discover and identify with the political choice of He who sent Mohammed to open the eyes and heart of mankind to truth and love. Subscription to the political determination of an elite hybrid descendant of the villains who fought the prophet from Mecca to Medina amounts to trying to sabotage the gradual process of degrading and eliminating the wicked system that is responsible for Nigeria’s shameful destitution amid natural plenty! Please beware of Buhari, Buhari means DEATH!!
Re: Open Letter To Southern Muslims...!!! by gists: 8:00pm On Mar 26, 2015
I am a Yoruba southern Muslim. My vote is for Buhari not because he is a Muslim nor because (as some fo0ls will like to please themselves with) I serve to some phantom northern superior race. My vote is for GMB because I look and long for a country where peace reigns and corruption is tamed to the bearest minimum. It would not have made any difference if the APC candidate had been Isa Ndanus or Dora Akunyili (of blessed memory).

+I refuse to vote for a president who thinks its ok to go dancing when Christians, Muslims, Northerners and Southerners where bombed to pieces.
+I refuse to vote for a man who didn't think it was important to get to eradicate a terrorist group that killed innocent boys in their dormitory until it became obvious he was going to lose election because of it.
+I refuse to vote for a man who denied the kidnapping of young (mostly christian) girls that went to write their WAEC exams.
+I refuse to vote for a man who think the right thing to do to a whistleblower is to sack him.
+I refuse to vote for a man claiming the glory of the projects executed and initiatives of past presidents.
+I refuse to vote for a man who think it is cool to back-out of an earlier promise made to muslims when the CAN president says he should ignore them.
+I refuse to vote for a man who think he is Nigerian "jesus" even though he quickly backed out.
+The dollar now trades for nearly N230. That is over 60% slide in value. I will not vote for a continuation of that.
+I will not vote for the continuation of a government that brought a train that takes 10hours to travel between Enugu and Port Harcourt.
+Above all, between 1999 and 2015, south west didn't care about the religion of her governors. We are just concerned about performance. Amosu and Aregbe are the first muslim governors in those states. Ekiti and Ondo has not even had a muslim governor since 1999. But it didn't matter to south westerners. Yet, these government, reminded us that 80% of south west governors are muslims. Thereby causing religious anxiety in the land. I refuse to vote for a man that brought politics of religion to south west.

So please OP, don't try to use this psycho-religious sentiment on us. It will not work on us in the south west. We only desire competent leaders regardless of their age or religious affiliations. Qualities that are obviously lacking under the umbrella.

Don't be a scare monger.

You TANoids are really frustrated. Your president wrote the Muslims in the north praising them and his boys are here. Praising the southern Muslims and begging for their votes.

You call them killers and terrorist but now that you need their votes you remember they are your brothers for 48hours after which you will resume calling them devils and other unprintable names.

[s]I am a Yoruba southern Muslim.
