Presidential Election Will Decide Future Of Nigeria, Says Ekweremadu by chibecanglobal(m): 7:11pm On Mar 26, 2015
Enugu – The Deputy Senate
President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu,
says the March 28 presidential
elections will decide the future of
Nigeria.
Ekweremadu made the statement in
Enugu on Thursday while rounding
off his campaign.
He said that Nigerians needed to be
guided by their conscience to make
informed choices that would lead to
sustenance of the ongoing
transformation in the country.
“Saturday is going to be a very
defining day for us as the outcome
of the election will decide the future
of this country.
“There is a lot happening under the
administration of President Goodluck
Jonathan that we need to sustain,”
he said.
The senator representing Enugu
West Senatorial zone at the National
Assembly appealed to his
constituents and other Nigerians to
vote for the PDP.
Ekweremadu said that he was
optimistic that Nigerians would not
be beclouded by ethnic or religious
sentiments, but should show sense
of patriotism at such a defining
moment.
“It appears to me that some of the
efforts we have made to live in peace
are being eroded by some of the
things people say in the areas of
religion and tribe.
“Sometimes, when people insist that
somebody from their part of the
country must be president, it baffles
me.
“This is because if you look at the
history of those that have ruled
Nigeria even at the state level, their
local government areas are not even
better.”
The senator said that Nigerians
needed to look beyond such
destructive sentiments but should
look at having patriotic men who
would see the whole country as their
constituency.
He said that the current
administration had done a lot in the
areas of job creation and opening
the critical sectors of the economy.
Ekweremadu said that the current
administration was at the verge of
creating unemployment benefit for
the aged through enabling
legislations. (NAN)

For the love of a united Nigeria, GEJ should complete his 2nd term

Nigeria cannot survive another round of Niger delta militancy. It will be too tough on this nation.

Dollar exchanges for 220 naira today just because of drop in crude price, further drop in production caused by damage in oil facilities will see the exchange rate go to 350 or 400naira

No allocation
No Salaries
No projects

This might sound like a threat.... but its a harsh reality.
