ibedun: Can you listen to yourself for a minute? Therefore, Saudi Arabia could have as well handed over the proceeds of their oil to to the United nations. Cos "it is a natural resource that formed in that territory over millions of years". It is a world heritage! Well, this type of argument is only possible with "lazy inadequate people", and an "ara oke" like ibedun, not surprised! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Deltagiant: How are they central to my survival? Whatever is gotten from Niger Delta or any other part of Nigeria is a common wealth of the nation. Yes, I say it and you can quote me anywhere. Before oil, Nigeria depended on some other people's God-given natural resources to survive. So, to hell with their claim. 2 Likes |

PassingShot: You can grudge and massage your wounded ego all you want. The fact is that any month Niger Delta don't pay your state, fridges and kitchen shelves will cry, nation wide for that matter. Is that not a shame? Thus, what's wrong in going back to regional autonomy that saw Awo grow the west's economy with cocoa, Michael Okpara with coal and palm oil and Bello with groundnut. How long will u guys continue this "feeding bottle" chest beating? It's a time bomb! 2 Likes 1 Share |

[size=13pt][b]Lets open our eyes America is desperate to break Nigeria in 2015 as predicted before we can elect a competent government that would wreck their plans. Our current government have been compromised and blackmailed into cooperating and colluding with the deception of the Nigerian masses. They are using the excuse of fake insurgency of Boko Haram, to break Nigeria up from the North and East. Using fake Biafra resurgence for the South East, using OPC from the West and MEND for the South South. Fellow Nigerians our situation is very serious and desperate. If we are allowed to vote tomorrow ensure you go out and vote to save your nation. If these election are not allowed to be held, then show your support for a parallel government as in reality we do not have a government that is looking after our interest or our security. If elections are not conducted with sincerity tomorrow please join me in pledging our government to be APC and leader General Buhari. Please remain calm and peaceful and be ready to defend yourself if attacked, but do not get drawn into any retaliatory sectarian violence, as this is what enemies of Nigeria would be counting on. Wealth generated from the Niger Delta oil fields has been plundered WHOLESALE by folks from the extreme north of Nigeria, where there is no oil wealth to speak of, yet whose inhabitants feel ENTITLED, by virtue of being BORN TO RULE, to OWN and sell the crude oil deposits that lie under the ancestral land of the Izon, the Itshekiri, the Ogoni, the Urhobo and the Ilaje people. For the first time in Nigeria's over half-century as an independent nation, a son of the Niger Delta was FINALLY elected into power as the nation's president. With that long-standing injustice of political and economic marginalization righted by the election of President Jonathan Goodluck Jonathan, and with a second term in office virtually assured in national elections, the born-to-rule northern criminal class, sensing the INEVITABLE power shift already well under way, now DEMANDS that a puppet RULER called Boko Hari be IMPOSED on Nigeria, in order to ensure that those lucrative oil field drilling permits are kept in the greedy grasping hands of that shadowy oil Mafia from northern Nigeria. Fortunately, the tide of human justice is a force of nature far too strong to be resisted by the desperate agitations of that northern Nigerian old guard, comprising career embezzlers and usurpers, all of whom will be swept away into the darker recesses of history now over forever. President Jonathan Goodluck WILL retain his post as Nigeria's Number One Citizen right on up until the good year 2019, and for the avoidance of doubt, any attempt to use post-election violence to subvert the expressed electoral will of the people will be crushed with the full might of the Nigerian military, just as any ILLEGAL government IMPOSED by force in Nigeria will trigger a conflagration of biblical scale in the Niger Delta, effectively shutting down ALL crude oil extraction and export, for as long as is necessary to restore justice in the land. 2 Likes 1 Share |

umarc19:Thinking Nigerian. For once I have seen someone thinking about the poor Masses and not propagating the wants of the elites. These elites have their private jets already revving for take off. No nation will ask them for their entry visas should anything happen. But you and I would probably meet our ends at the ports or seas as the case maybe. But God has already forbidden that. To the elites: "Stop igniting strife in the hearts of our young generation". To our young generation: "Think farther than what you see now. Don't allow your minds to be cajoled into the benefits of the elites and remain vanquished". 3 Likes 1 Share |
