The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the results for the presidential election in the state of Osun, Yorubaland. Of the 22 councils declared, the APC candidate, Muhammadu Buhari lost just one of councils: Ife East. Results are still being awaited in eight local councils. There are 30 local councils in the state, along with Modakeke Area Office. Here is a council by council breakdown of the result. PDP did extremely well in the state. I think GEJ got more votes from that state than in 2011. 1 Like |

clevvermind: How if I may ask? GEJ does not only need 25% of votes cast in two thirds of the states, he also need majority of votes. As far as I know, Oyo, Ogun and Osun are more or less with the opposition with only Ekiti for PDP. |
