After porting d custom rom, the following bugs were discovered in d Rom;

1. Camera not working

2. No single sound or audio is coming from d iNote

3. Phone memory and sdcard are not mounting ( u can only access dem via file managers but can't save to dem from online and can't even view their content in ur gallery).

3. Sim 1 and 2 can both use 3g network smoothly...


CHALLENGE...

Are u aware there is something called manner of approach !!!!!

Check d apks in d system/app folders mayb u wi find sd mount or sumtin lyk dat there

It seems that all Innjoo Note users are okay with the mediocre specs of the phone.

I regreted ever buying a device that cannot switch 3g network to sim 2 by default.... I have to physically power off d device and swap sim ports just to use 3g in this modern day.

If it is d Rom u wish to backup, the best tool to use is MTK DROID TOOLS. It is a PC application...

As for d recovery image, I created my personal CWM recovery image 4 d phone. I will dig up d dropbox link and post it here...

Yes I have updated my Rom....


Hope ur purpose of requesting for the recovery image is not to use it to backup ur phone's Rom? Because if that is the case, then know that on the day of trouble or brickage, that backup will not be able to save ur device (fact).... So better make use of d PC app I suggested earlier !!!

House pls I got the injoo one from jumia on Friday. Yesterday the charging port started acting up. Won't charge unless I lincline the charger in a weird position. Please can this be fixed by a normal phone repairer? Sending it back now is not an option cos d replacement might still develop same problem.

I will suggest u try a different charger 1st b4 considering taking it 4 repairs......

For Storage Mount Problems
copy and paste the file called "vold.fstab" in sytem/etc/vold.fstab from stock rom to port rom.

You can find more tips here.

Thanks for contributing your own quota bro, but vold.fstab can only be found inside the boot.img in KitKat ROMs.

I would have done that a long time ago if the vold.fstab was in d location they described in the article...

Only in Jellybean ROMs can vold.fstab be found in sytem/etc/

I have managed to solve d memory problem at last but network problem kicked in immediately...

The phone cannot detect both sim cards.

Well I have done my bit, I am therefore officially signing out of Rom porting 4 good.

baba pls finish this ROM oo....don't give up on the ROM

This is a good project..Those who know how to port rom should work on it.. Because the stock note rom sucks... I ported i2s rom. Still working on it. So many bugs. I will work in this too... But if anyone here has a custom recovery for note should pls upload.. Or add me on BBM 532DB4CC

The Roms are in their final phase of testing and will be released to everyone as soon as they have been certified OK.
