is it possible to love someone yet hate the fact that you love the person that much in the light of situation surrounding you both


personally i think its either one or the other

but he claims he loves her,yet hates the fact that he is so helpless about it

it's very possible for u to love someone and still hate him. this happens when u are helplessly in love with someone who one way or the other isn't worth wasting such emotions on. either he isn't reciprocating the love u shower on him or he isn't just meant to be "the one". this kind of love can otherwise be called obssession which means uncontrollable desire for something despite all odds.

he isnt obsessing over her that much we know

we know he likes her a whole lot

we know he is droppin some habits for her

I can understand lots of situations that would make you feel sad that you love someone so much:

Falling in love and finding the person is married

Falling love and finding out they are on the run from the law

Falling in love with a drug addict

Falling in love with someone who is doing something that is a deal breaker.

Usually when people find themselves in these types of situations they find it vary hard to let go, to stop loving them and the lines between what is a deal breaker and what is not are smugged and fuzzy. It is much easier to make that choice when given the option before you fall in love then after.

I have been there done that and dont ever wish to be put in that postion again. You justify and gloss over the very things that you said you would never do because your heart is wrapped up and you dont want to go thru the pain of hurting.

Yes, I think that it is not only just possible, but it is fairly common to be in love with someone and be frustrated over the fact. Really, this is a very dangerous and destructive type of love. I hope to never have to experience anything like this again in my lifetime.
