In this fresh air of change that GMB won the election, let's not forget that he still has a court hearing on April 22nd and 23rd,2015. What if the judge disqualifies Buhari's eligibility to contest and re-install GEJ as the winner and president of Nigeria till 2019. What will happen?

Matured replies please.. Let's just rub minds together.

Also add to your post...

Will the north and the bulk of Buhari supporters accept the court decision in good fate just like the South-east and South-south have accepted Jonathan's defeat in Saturday's election or will they riot and wreck havoc?

APC is "progressive", anyone from them will do otherwise, it would be confirmed that the party was built around Buhari. Strike the shepherd, the sheep will scatter comes to my mind.

So even if he is guilty as charged, the law should be bent to accomodate sentiments

According to the section 136 sub-section 1 and 2 in the constitution the vice president will take over,so if buhari is disqualified it means that pastor yemi osinbajo will take over, and trust me if you know pastor yemi osinbajo very well you will know that he will perform very well, but the reality is that the court will adjourn the case till forever or they will dismiss it based on lack of evidence!!!!!!!!buhari is not above the law but something is above the law and that thing is "wisdom"

As a legal practitioner, 1. Buhari is quarlified, 2. There is what we called discretion, and is allowed in law for peace to reign.

u called it sentiment, there is no perfect situation there is always a sacrifice for every success. there are many options available e.g the plaintiff could be persuaded to withdraw if there appears or a need for national security, stability etc. Do you think the incumbent just wanted to accept defeat if not for the purpose of national interest and sovereignty of the nation

If anybody respects the rule of law, he wont ask the plantiff withdraw but Withdraw himself. GEJ respected the rule of law because of national reasons. Buhari can withdraw if it doesnt favor him.
