Presidency Orders Probe Into Leakage Of Jonathan’s Phone Chat With Buhari by bamac(m): 10:33pm On Apr 04, 2015
The Presidency is reported to have been
seriously embarrassed by the leakage of
President Goodluck Jonathan’s telephone
conversation with the President-elect, Gen.
Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, March 31
where he conceded defeat, Saturday Sun
reports.
The audio recording of the President’s call
to Gen. Buhari at 5.15 pm on Tuesday,
through which he congratulated the
President-elect on his victory, was within
the same day already in the public domain
with various news sites publishing the
audio.
Quoting a presidency source who pleaded
anonymity, the report revealed that the
Presidency has ordered a probe into the
leakage of the phone conversation to
ascertain whether the recording was made
public from the presidency or was made
public from Buhari’s camp.
The insider further noted that should it be
confirmed that it was leaked from the
presidency, those found to be involved will
face appropriate punishment.
“Definitely, unauthorized release of a raw
recording of the President’s telephone
conversation, if from our (Presidency’s)
end, is a security breach that cannot go
without being investigated,” the source
said.

The conversation could have been recorded and leaked by Buhari's aides.

Besides, it is not a classified document but a phone conversation of Jonah conceding defeat to GMB, what then is the point of investigating its leakage!

Jonah should concentrate his effort on more important tasks like packing out of Aso Villa!

This is a serious security breach.

The culprit should be jailed
