National Coordinator of Goodluck to Goodluck campaign organization, Major General Charles Airhiavbere, yesterday defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This is coming barely one week after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, winner of the March 28th presidential election.
Airhiavbere, who contested the 2012 governorship election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) officially announced his defection at a press conference. He said his decision to dump the PDP was informed by the need to join “team of change”.
“Any politician who mean well for this state will ground their arms of hate and join the change train of the APC government ably led by His Excellency, Adams Oshiomhole. I know for sure that with the APC at the national and state levels, there will be rapid development and all campaign promises will be redeemed,” he said.

Everyone is either retiring from politics or joining Apc. How will pdp survive as opposition? Pdp must not die ooo. All of u that was part of the pdp before the presidential election should stay to restructure the party.

Governors crossing with the people's mandate as well as Senators. Ditto for reps.
So where is party ideology in all that if not to just reach out to where more money and power can be grabbed.
