RIVERS CHRISTIAN YOUTHS DECLARES SUPPORT FOR HON DR DAKUKU
PETERSIDE IN THEIR COMMUNIQUE DELIVERED BY EKIYE C. EKIYE CHAIRMAN,
YOUTH WING OF CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA, RIVERS STATE
CHAPTER ON 6TH APRIL 2015
Greetings to you all in Jesus name. Happy Easter.
The essence of this release is:
A. To congratulate the outgoing President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr.
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR) and the President-elect, General Muhammadu
Buhari for their peaceful disposition to Nigerians in the last election.
B. Commend the level of peaceful nature of our people as well as condemn
INEC inability to live up to her responsibility especially in Rivers State where
card readers were not effective, proper information about authenticity of
electoral materials were challenged, and some level of electoral violence was
condoned.
C. Appreciate the security agents and INEC and Rivers people ahead of
Saturday, April 11th Governorship and State Assembly elections ahead for
peaceful conduct and free choice of candidate, believing that it is only one
village, one L.G.A and one Rivers State that we all have and must keep it
peaceful.
D. And declare support for Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside , the All Progressive
Congress (APC) for the Governorship election of 11th April 2015 as our own
beloved one and call on likeminded Christian Youths, Fathers and Mothers to
support and vote him into power.
E. Commend our Father and Leader, Apostle Zilly Aggrey, the State Chairman of
C.A.N, in his prayers and support for good leadership in Nigeria and Rivers
State.
