The socio-political group, De-Change Coalition of Nigeria (DCCN) has described the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari as an epitome of democratic struggle in the country.


The group in a congratulatory message to him said that the victory of the former Military ruler was a well deserved in a democratic structure.

According to him, “General Buhari has chosen the path of former American President, Abraham Lincoln, through resilience and perseverance which gave Buhari democratic victory at the end of the day.

Meanwhile, DCCN proposed five- years single term for executive office holders in the country, maintaining that the five years single-term would discourage the rift that is associated with the re-election bid of political office holders which always create tension in the polity.

The statement which was signed by its National Chairman, De-Change Coalition of Nigeria (DCCN),Comrade Abayomi Adegoke, copy of which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo congratulated the people of the country over Buhari’s victory, describing Buhari’s victory as victory over falsehood and deceit in the nation’s polity.

When Gej proposed a 6 years one term, people called him all sort of name and not minding what sense is in what he proposed.

In that, whatsoever u re doing, u need to be active not thinking of doing it in ur second term like Abia state government said his son will do in office.

If one fails to be active, his party will loose stands and be jegaed out without looking sideways.
