The axiom,"get Aba right, and Abia is right", shall continue to be the pivotal development and philosophy and nexus upon which to hinge development policy for Aba.
Aba ishome to virtually all Abians, Ndi Igbo and has a strong attchment to many others.Re-developing Aba into a modern commercial hub;urban renewal and city upgrading,functional infrastructure,statble power supply,reliable and decent public transportation system,urban traffic management system,structured and planned industrial layouts,cluster and parks,will release her revenue potential which will be leveraged upon to develop the rest of Abia State
We shall enhance international marketing opportunities for made in Aba goods and services by ensuring quality control and showcase the Made in Aba brand in economic capitals of the world
OBUAKU INDUSTRIAL ZONE
As part of Aba re-development project,we shall undertake the establishment of OBAKU INDUSTRIAL ZONE. The components shall include,but not limited to, a sea port and housing estate. Ikpeazu till 2023

EDUCATION
Dr Ikpeazu will make policies that will ensure qualitative and functional education that will equip the Abia child to not only participate in,but also confidently compete on the global platform.
Dr Ikpeazu led government will,
* rebuild confidence in our public education system so that our children can proudly attend public schools
*encourage our teachers capacity building untill they are able to actualize their set career goals
*ensure unihibited access to quality primary education
*enhance school structures,man-power and facilities so that our secondary schools meet international standards
*prioritise teachers welfare
*adopt training and re-training of teachers as an integra part of our education quality assurance programme
*vigorously pursue the establishment and resuscitation of vocational and technical education centers equipped with morden and functional facilitie,with appropriate personnel,to ensure that our youth are adequately and skillfully empowered as part of response to Abia youth employment

HEALTH

Already,there are over 300 Primary Health Centers in the State and functional genaeral hospitals including the 3Nos 100-bed wards built and equipped by the governmet,we shall build new ones and also make fund available for maintenance of the already existing ones. Our health workers shall be paid as at when due.
Our thematic areas in health sector will include,but not limited to,maternal/child care,HIV/AIDS,cancer,maleria control and the EBOLA scourge for which we shall emphasise preventive approach
