If influential has anything to do with votes, then here it is:
Tinubu, yes
Obasanjo had never won an election in the real sense
Danjuma, connections doesn't translate to political power if it can't determine voting pattern in ur favour
Babangida: Doubtful, lost to Obasanjo, Atiku and recently PDP lost in Niger
Sule Lamido: maybe but not in the context of what you are looking at
Buhari: Sure raw deal, mostly on religious sentiment, but that's politics. U must be able to play on pips sentiments.
Kwankwaso: Yeah, a little more bite than Sule Lamido
Jonathan: At a time was able sway votes his way thro an endearing personality, still held affectionately by many. No real political power.
Edwin Clerk: within his community yes there's his clout. Stops there.
Bukola Saraki: True strong horse with individual mind. Kwara is his.

Now the ones u miss out
Atiku, strong political base dat stands the test of time. Has only really fallen prey to Tinubu with reasons tho. Might be in the top five. For me, stronger than Tinubu.
