Not all brains are active in the morning.
It depends on your body clock.
Larks- Morning people have active brain in the morning
Owls- Evening people are groggy in the morning time. They are not active at early mornings.
Humming birds- Are a combination of the above two. They make up majority of the populace.

Every society favours larks mostly, because most things are done or started at morning time. School, work(companies), with bias towards people who are owl. Evening people like waking up around 10a.m upward, so they are not active from 8a.m. But they've got no choice. Off to school they go.
