Hmmm!
The other liberated towns also had mines planted, is this a way to stall the advancement until Buhari takes over?

It is not stopping, it is changing strategy. The land mines are obviously posing a challenge so they must find a way to neutralise the area.

There were land mines in the numerous towns they liberated.
I heard earlier today they were running out of ammunitions, would this not give boko haram time to re-strategize?

Sacrifices must be made for greater good. Air strikes is the best way, yes innocent lives will be lost but millions of lives will be saved.

God bless the Nigerian and other west african Army. We cant dispute the fact that they have the upper hand in this war, if not Shekau or shecow the God forsaken attention seeking bitch would have posted his usual boastful videos with chewing stick in the mouth.

Those were towns, this is a forest, a more difficult terrain. They will still be crushed.

This is a result of neglect and poor security set-up. How did they have the time to establish strongholds and plant landmines? Is there no governor in that state? Where was the Nigerian military?
