The OP Lied.......................... Sterling bank stated it in the instructions, that we should read all the questions before answering. The only problem with the test is just the issue of NETWORK. The OP lied................. |

Reminds me of chevron every year 'vacancy for post of finance analyst' Publicity stunt. forming employing professionals. year in year out, they gather Thousands of Accountants from all parts of the country plus UK and US. in the end, story for the gods. some people wrote against their magomago in 2012 and the write up went viral. since then, they v not come out to put up dat vacancy again. 1 Like |

I don't even know why this is still a topic of discussion. Their server was shit, agreed. If their server was perfect, fact remains many of us would have flunked it still. I did the test, answered the first 3 questions 'correctly' and struggled with their server till time ran out. Initially, I was pissed that their server was shit, but when I found out I would have failed it ( 1. I wouldn't have read through everything. 2, I don't even know the name of their CEO) anyways. I conceded defeat. The instruction said 'read all questions', Many of us would have missed it with or without bad server. Take the L and move on. |

The test was dubious, unnerving and preposterous. There wasn't any clear instruction as to only do question no 17. A financial institution is supposed to be trusted but I have lost my credibility in Sterling Bank. They don't worth banking with. 2 Likes |

Nice write up . But you are not entirely right ! Although the site was bad that day, it was very possible to skip a question without answering it. The only problem most of us faced during the exercise was anxiety. We were mindful of the time given while the main question lies in the instruction. 1 Like |

faceURfront:If you can modify what you wrote, why don't you write the correct thing.? I am one of the few Nigerians that hate the word "Sorry".. I hate hearing it, and I don't use it.. For me, you do the right thing, and make good amends when you do wrong.. Don't just say sorry and still leave the wrong baring.. 4 Likes |

bennyrazz: Its not that there are no brains/business minded graduates who can set up servicing/manufacturing/production companies, its that majority do not have the funds to kick-start their dreams. Some may disagree with this but you can not underestimate the power of funds in start-ups. 6 Likes 1 Share |

There was a time we were treating industrial relations in my school and a topic on legal frame work popped up and was so surprised that I decried out that how comes all this laws and acts are so old and outdated? no answer was forthcoming, truth is the laws guiding labour in Nigeria are outdated and archaic, it will interest u to know that often even ordinance are been quoted as authority on labor and labour dispute, I jes dunno what our so called National assembly are doing.... it's so absurd. 1 Like |

Kassidy4luv:Oh, and you read through all the questions (i.e from number 1 to 20) before going back to number 17 to answer it correctly? You know what? I dislike hypocrites like you, coz I can remember that if not for the sterling bank thread, you wouldn't have passed this test. Someone on that thread (the slimmy guy) gave a clue on how he passed the test by answering just number 17, and you did just as he said and of course, you passed. Now, your irritating ego won't allow you to tell the truth and accept the fact that the online test wasn't fair. I wish you had it the other way round. I guess that would had brought out some bit of honesty and humility in you. 2 Likes |

Any nigeria graduate who has been unemployed for 2 years and still keeps on applying for jobs in 2015 is the best foooooooooooooooooooool in the world. There is nothing new about what the op said and I think the whole article is even senseless. If the nigerian govt can mess with the unemployed youth to the extent of having some killed in the process of govt job application how much more private companies. I don't see any brains in applying for one job or the other . The basic large and obvious truth is that in nigeria jobs are scarce ,so why can't ppl get trained in a vocational skill and use the well developed mental capabilities to start something tangible instead of hopping like a frog from one cafe to another and one laptop to another?? This situation in nigeria has been on for the past 10years now . Nigeria graduates should just wake up to the realities that there are no job and you must survive, therefore find something legitimate to do. |
