Aisha Alhassan, led her state party delegations to congratulate the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Wednesday. "Mama Taraba" as fondly called by her supporters would have been the first female governor in Nigeria -as she lost the re-run election in her state (Taraba) to the PDP governorship candidate, Darius Ishaku after winning the April 11th elections.
