This is a very broad subject, early marriage is like a miscellanea but with a connection to the larger phenomenon, and a solution has already been devised to curb this incident, which is "basic education and legal age" before marriage.

We are still complaining because the authorities don't seem to give a damn. Hope this time with help of these women activists and the center Nigeria would be able to outlaw this practice.

It's unfair to drag and blame just the Hausas for this problem, today first google result about minor abuse in Nigeria will show a southern victim, and you can hardly read about a Hausa victim in the first two pages of the result.

What is even worse is unlike the Hausa instances where doers in their own right can substantiate and justify their actions[e.g I got her parents consent and her approval, she is pubescent, she will conceive and deliver without complications, to hell with white mans age limit etc], your southern brothers subjected minors to worst and most inhuman human handling you can ever think of.

Have you forgotten that down south :

- men use to go out to hunt and kidnap girls [some volunteer voluntarily], lock on breeding facility, have savages take turns and impregnate them, keep them till they deliver, snatch and auction the babies to best bidders and continue with this vicious circle?

- even female septuagenarians, octogenarians are not spared and are being raped diurnally on broad daylight for ritual purposes?

- small children are molested by their fathers, brothers, uncles, teachers and pastors?

- that even animals were molested? Just this week one of your brothers is caught pants down with a goat.

If I were you I won't dare attempt rejoicing for others predicament, judging from the environment you live, you are prone to getting abused, and I so much wish that will happen soon
, fucktar.ds of your kind need to get the worse of comeuppances that will rid them of all banal behaviors.

She should start with her husband's political friend and ally of long, Alhaji Sani Yerima, who was recentlt re-elected to the Senate under APC platform. In fact, she should also tell it to Lamido Sanusi who was reportedly set to marry a 17 years old girl.

What a joke,
All this while
Didn't she notice how are husband's supporters were marrying kids,
What did she do about it..?
I bet that woman cannot go to her village and make such comments,
Cos she knows that if she tries it, her husband will lose many supporters

This woman has personal beef with Yerima, and she feels she can use her position as first lady to nail, or at least spite the man.

This is the kind of 1st lady that we want, see her springing up good ideas, not the 'dia ris God' type of a 1st lady that can never be found in an international conference or gathering discussing good topics, i wonder how we managed her for 5 years.
