Everyone of her coursemates were glad when she was put to bed. Going in groups to congratulate her for a safe delivery, she never felt happier than being alive. This is a real experience that i witness( Second hand witness) 4 Likes 5 Shares |

banjicom:i'm afraid i'm tilting towards that conclusion. Reason being that i've seen two earlier case last year and observations were similar with this- the mothers always switch on the A.c to keep things cool for her and the baby. 1 Like |

Sudden infant death syndrome.. AC is not good for children under five years old, cos it predisposes them to respiratory infections, especially pneumonia... Fanning the poor baby would've sufficed... The baby might have also aspirated some mucus that built up because of the cold.... Anyway, God knows 19 Likes 1 Share |

no, i don't think so,provided the baby is well covered and the AC conditions the air well,it will even make the baby frsher 16 degrees is not so cold, after all, upon all the heater and everything the weather overseas is much colder my condolences to the mother 10 Likes |

This one is strong. The kind of air produced frm an AC is not too gd for a child bt i think that an evil classmate of hers may hv done something metaphysical to the baby thats y a calabar woman wont allow strangers carry her baby untill d baby is a month old. 1 Like 1 Share |

the AC killed the baby or rather the opposite+ignorance.placing a baby in an airconditioned room is even recommended by doctors because its safer.since you said she was always sweating i.e her body temp was high,an indication of the body fighting a disease.possibly she had an illness.and instead of a proper medical checkup she only turned up AC poor kid,if only she could talk. 11 Likes |

cold bawo!! What of children born in temperate regions? My question!! was the baby immunised before her frends started carryin?? cos some diseases cud have bn transfered by 'mere touching' and since the baby's immunity is low, a sudden onset of infection cud kill in hours 11 Likes |

I doubt it but it is possible. But why didn't she use a very thick blanket to cover the baby against the excessive cold? ACCEPT MY HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES and Baby- Rest in Peace |

Not sure, but it could be Legionella Most babies can't withstand such temperature... Next time, she should take precautions, to avoid stories that touch again Prevention is better than 1 Like 1 Share |
