Will Buhari go after Abacha's Loot because he last said "Abacha never stole"? Will he try to recover any loot from Lamido Sanusi? What about Atiku Abubakar, Segun Obaasanjo, Alhaji Bagugu, IBB, etc?

His change is only against his enemies, people like Tinubu are exempted in his deceitful anti-corruption crusade. cheesy

Pls lets ask them if Buhari will also go after Boko Haram after he has already said that they were fighting for their right. We haven't seen a messiah yet.

When the government pays some people too much money they have no choice than to invest it. Cut 50% of thier salaries and let then declare assets before and after thier terms.

No need for second term, do your 4yrs and let someone else try.

Put that question to him when he is in power, I can only speak on the one we have seen in power and not the one that hasn't started. I wonder why you never put these hypocritical questions of yours to Jonathan who is STILL in power. One thing I know is if anybody is going to make an attempt at tackling corruption and doing what needs to be done to recover past stolen money, it is definitely not Jonathan. I am not going to speak for Buhari but I have more hope in him. Any other hypocritical shameless questions you want to ask?

You said it all.

Lol, the Buharis with their Yoruba collaborators only talk of corruption whenever any body from the former eastern region of Nigeria is at the helm anywhere.

For the Buharis and the Yoruba, Sani Abacha, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Atiku Abubakar, Abdul Salam Abubakar, IBB - these are all not corrupt.

So he did not know that he wasn't in power when he made those outrageous promises? He categorically said "corrupt officials will end up in kirikiri". So Barcanista's question goes with his promise... Is he gonna probe them tinubu, Amaechi, Fashola that bankrolled him? If he doesn't probe them then he's a bigger hypocrite than Barcanista is.

all we need is their names. Oil moguls and business men make sense. If public officials or ex public officials we need sniffing dogs up their backsides.

We need to develop our foreign policy to work with Governments outside Nigeria and fish these thieves out. Start with Dubai, South Africa, UK, US. I.m sure we can recover billions in assets.

I don't expect him to spend his whole energy fighting corruption but expect a pro development agenda as well, that is why you have ministers. Besides, it would shock you what setting the right tone can achieve. He has not even gotten into power yet but he is already fighting corruption. People are fleeing the country and NNPC and others are refunding money. Why? Because he has set the tone. When you think there would be no consequences for your action, things carry on the way they have for the past 5 years - Jonathan was very much pro corruption, that was the tone HE set.

You're just too intelligent SkyBlue1. I love this

Those who ruled Nigeria in the last 40 years have practically acquired much of the most beautiful houses in the UK.

But you can hardly see any person from former eastern region of Nigeria among the house owners in the UK. Perhaps 1%.

LAST ELECTION, THE NORTH AND YORUBA FINALLY MADE A STATEMENT THAT LEADERSHIP OF NIGERIA IS THEIR EXCLUSIVE PRESERVE;
THAT YORUBA AND NORTH CAN , AND MUST DECIDE WHICH AMONG THE TWO GROUPS WILL LEAD NIGERIA AT ANYTIME AND CONTROL OIL RESOURCES.

ABOVE ALL, Yoruba SENT THE MESSAGE THAT THERE IS NOTHING LIKE SOUTHERN SOLIDARITY BETWEEN THE YORUBA AND REST OF SOUTH OF NIGERIA.

NOTTHERNERS AND YORUBAS ARE BUYING UP LONDON WITH PROCEEDS FROM CRUDE OIL.

BUT BACK TO NIGERIA, THE NORTH HAS DRIVEN AWAY MOST OF NON NORTHERNERS FROM NORTH;
WHILE THE YORUBA THREATENS TO DROWN A PARTICULAR SET OF NON INDEGENES IN THE LAGOS LAGOON.

ONE NIGERIA IS A SLAVE HOUSE FOR PEOPLE FROM OLD SOUTHEAST REGION OF NIGERIA.

You can be quite shameless but I should come to expect that from you. ALWAYS using one crook to justify another, especially now in these past few weeks I assume you are under no further illusion that your hero Jonathan encouraged corruption and was corrupt, as well as running the most disappointing and incompetent presidency we have ever seen - and try as you may you will NOT rewrite that narrative when the evidences are so glaring. That Obasanjo and IBB were crooks does not erase the fact that Jonathan is one as well.

How is he shameless pls? Or do you say the first thing that comes to ur mind?

The truth is simple, our politicians are thieves, whether pdp or apc and the fight against corruption must across all regardless the party affiliation!
