Well it is not too late to realize your mistakes and take steps to not repeating them so yes, it is a step in the right direction to rebuilding yourself.

I assume they will also be assessing themselves to see what they did wrong and how not to repeat such actions as they move toward. In the end they remain Nigerians and if/when they truly change to become as responsible as these tweets say, I wish they progress to greater heights.

They rode on Nigerians with contempt and impunity for years and whenever we dared to complain or query them, they roll out the meanest looking policemen and soldiers to silence us. Now the game is up they wanna put on a saintly garb all in a veiled bid to blackmail the opposition.

This trash isn't gonna fly, not for enlightened folks like some of us.

My Take On This Issue
This apology is most insincere and at best, annoying! You can't cover your arrogance and impunities under some pretence of "we accept responsibility"... It worked for GMB because Nigerians already saw sincerity of a man who Meant well but used excessive force to try to achieve that. In PDP's case, the same crooks, criminals, cabals and usurpers of the will of Nigerians are sitting tight at the helm of affairs of the party and trying to cunningly crave sympathy on a platter of gold. No single sacrifice of bowing out and giving way for reformists to try to clean up the party, the same set of people who will rather shred the party to pieces if removed as leaders are trying to play with the conscience of Nigerians through the back door...

Sorry it doesn't work that way. Go back and rebuild your party, and come back when you're ready to put the nation's interest ahead of selfish enrichment desires. By the way, don't forget PDP still stands for "share the money" to many Nigerians, so you should know you probably have a long way to go.

ps: Nigerians are enjoying their freedom from the PDP which they have craved for years now, they're not in a hurry to come back to that bondage anytime soon, stay and do meaningful opposition if you really mean well. No more unmerited contracts and permanent suites at expensive hotels at the expense of jobless Nigerians who are considered only useful for political thuggery, lol

No it is the humility of defeat the feeling of emptiness of poverty of powerlessness by a drowning confused bragging bully in the era that he was trashed beyond recognition by his victims.

It is a veiled attempt at blackmail. Next thing you would hear Metuh say is "APC should be mature enough to take responsibility for their failure just as PDP has always done."

We know these guys. They stand to lose nothing from even admitting it was them who deceived Adam into eating that damn apple and not Lucifer. 16 tortuous years they took responsibly for absolutely nothing, with only Yaradua admitting the 2011 election that saw to his emergence as the president were flawed.

The first step to solving a problem is to admit there is a problem so this is a good move for PDP.

Tweet by some faceless person you don't even know means nothing, that could have been done by some intern. This must be as a group and different people individually, on T.V.
