The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has accepted responsibility ‘for all that has gone wrong and bad in the last 16 years’ in the country. This is according to a tweet by the verified Twitter handle of the party, @pdpnigeria. The party which pleaded for the ‘genuine and sincere advice’ from Nigerians on the best way to reform the once-dominant party from its crumbling stature, promised to welcome criticism and make amends. The party which has ruled the country since the return of democracy in 1999 was defeated by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last general election. That goes without saying. The PDP instead of being a reprieve from the decades of military rule, turned out to be a civilian dictatorship of corruption and impunity. They gave us Obasanjo the corrupt, Late Yar-adua the weak, and Jonathan the clueless corrupt failure. The PDP taught us that even if you're convicted for theft in the UK, you're a guaranteed hero in Nigeria and if money is missing in Nigeria, America will know. We eagerly await the vindication of murdered Late General Azazi who famously stated that "Boko Haram is PDP, and PDP is Boko Haram". Good riddance to a party of thieves, fugitives and murderers. 100 Likes 9 Shares |

Accepting responsibility is just rhetoric, we would be watching to see how their remaining governors transform their states. For all I care, these people are looking for sympathy to take power through the backdoor, they have realised that all those permanent suites at NICON and Sheraton will now have to be personally funded, so they wanna play on the psyche of Nigerians, but trust us, we know what you guys have been up to in the past 16 years... This apology will lead you nowhere, PDP is filled with jobless people whose only job is waiting for allocations from FG oil, that is the PDP culture I know of, "share the money".., by the way if this was a way of the NWC trying to crave sympathy to avoid the tsunami that is about to sweep them, lol, it has failed... 10 Likes |

You can only correct the few mistakes, if any, that you know you made. Go back to PDP drawing board, ie to the original formation of the party and see what the founding fathers did that has been lost. Beware of those craving for separation. They are monsters. They pushed GEJ to the brink. |

Today I celebrate ME! The birth of Me! The person I have grown to be! The person I will become! I am grateful to God for the gift of life, I am void without him. Also thankful to my earthly parents for nurturing me into the graceful, lovely, and great person I am today. Happy birthday to Me! I wish myself many more years of joy, love, laughter, health and prosperity strength and wisdom for days to come and success with everything I do today, and tomorrow! Join me in celebration 17 Likes 1 Share |

Well, it's good to accept responsibility for all your atrocities. However, your members who stole our common wealth one way or the other should voluntarily return at least half of their loots. That way, we can now start to take you guys serious. Dearpreye, Whynotthetruth, Mogidi, SeverusSnape, Barcanista and other PDPians, you all need to clearly tender your apologies and acceptance of responsibility for your attempt to misinform some forum members and misrepresent facts through your numerous threads here. Once you've done that, we can start to take you guys serious too. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

The apology does not necessarily mean exclusive admittance of faults on the rot in Nigeria since 1999. PDP shall be rebranded and shall lead again 4 Likes |

As for your nonsense, I can't respond to you because I don't have time 4 thuggish posters. PS:This should be the first time I will respond to your thrash since Feb 16, 2015. PassingShot: Thanks for my mention...fortunately apology isn't a sign of weakness but of strength and corrigible beings...Yes, I support lots of introspection for PDP... Now, passingshot, in your bigoted mind and partisan spirit; have you ever taken time to check who make up APC hierarchy...Weren't they part of government since this democratic dispensation or most since 1978...Very soon conflict of interest will emerge among them... 7 Likes 2 Shares |

For wasting both lives, properties and wealth of the nation. Apology can only be accepted if all the money stolen are returned and the party is fully deleted from nigeria. Any incidence of the name will continue to bring ptsd to the Nigerian psyche. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Whynotthetruth: You know I'm not a bigot and if you think I am one, kindly tell me what kind it is. To those you refer to as being part of APC hierarchy, APC will handle them the way they will not become nuisance and enemies of progress to Nigeria. On many occasions I have told you that all political parties all over the world are populated by the good, the bad and the ugly. It is how the party handles them that matter. Oya, tender your apologies now before I change my mind. SeverusSnape:That I accorded you a mention should even make you happy. Take care boy!. 6 Likes |
