That's misleading info, UNE Isn't AL1 at all. If you want to know how to check which level of assessment unis fall under, use the link provided by Westafrican.

This is what i do and i am certain of that information. Nigeria (country) is on AL3 and UNE (Institution) is AL1, Therefore applicants from Nigeria will be assessed on AL1

This is a public forum and we all need to be careful with information we provide as saying things we are not sure of can cause harm to others.

It is better you check info well before you accuse someone of providing misleading info as your accusation will confuse others.

@justwise, you're always on here arguing what you don't know. Countries don't share people's data except the person is suspected of crime, or was previously arrested in one those countries, even the backwater link you posted says so if you read further. As student visa applicants, Embassies work with the info provided to them, they have absolutely no time to check everyone's data with other countries, again, except the application seems suspicious or the applicant is from a very high risk terrorist country.

This is how you hid my post because I responded to a question that Embassies don't have time to confirm every bank statement, considering the amount of applications the receive, unless it's outright suspicious. Banks don't just release people's info, it's a breach of confidentiality and they can be sued, I know this because I worked in a Nigerian bank for years, and I have friends who are senior officers in Embassies.

I understand that you want people to do the right thing and I want that as well, but you don't have to lie or mislead people just to scare them. You can encourage people to do the right thing by telling it as it really is, and letting them know the consequences of their choices.

Plus Nigerians need to understand their rights to privacy and confidentiality when dealing with Embassies and other organisations.

You just managed to contradict yourself there and still went ahead to make assumptions based on no credible evidence.

One of the reasons why many of you are jumping out to depend these lies is because you people encourage it

All of you saying countries don't share info can't even provide a single evidence to back up your lies and misleading info.

Yes the issue about whether bank disclose customer's info to the embassy or not will never be discussed here because only a dubious person will worry about that. I don't care how many years you have worked in the bank.

I will start paying more attention to this thread as i have noticed that more and more people are ready to encourage people to circumvent immigration rules.

Nobody will use this thread again to deliberately spread misleading info without backing that up with evidence.

If you have a friend or family member who runs a business in Australia and meet up the requirements for sponsorship they can sponsor you. Hence, you still need to write the english test as it part of the requirements for PR.

Ok thanks, but what of assessment.will i still assess my qualification if i am being sponsored for PR.thanks

My bad, I mistook UNE for University of Newcastle. But I ain't got no time for all that unnecessary grammar you spewed up there.

Hi guys. I just got my offer letter into Bond University. But the money I'm seeing here is crazily high. Never knew it was that expensive. I don't want to put my neck into something I won't be able to continue later. I contacted a Friend in Australia and what she said wasn't encouraging at all. She said Australia doesn't care about international students and all. I don't want to spend such money on education and end up coming back to Nigeria after. Are there good jobs in Australia? Cus this money is too much. I thought masters was cheaper than bachelor degree. I'm to pay 15k dollars for just first semester. Including medical insurance blabla. And I'll still pay another one oh. That one is just one semester. And it's two years. Cus It's masters. I'm confused. Should I continue? Let my parents empty their account. Is it worth it? Can I get good job when I'm done schooling? . Will I be able to work while schooling to pay my fees? Biko help me. Don't let me start what I can't finish

You made it sound like data is shared for every visa applicant. I'm not contradicting myself, because I pointed out that it only happens in few exceptional cases. Fair enough, I don't care how many years I've worked in a bank either.

I don't know why your friend said that Australia doesn't care about intl students. IMO, if you can pay your initial fees and you're smart/hardworking, Australia is the best country right now for intl students, as reflected in their policies. I don't know any other country that is so easy to get jobs for immigrants, but then, it depends on your industry, interests and work ethics. Bond is a reputable private uni, what course are you coming to study?

Dunno if she said it to scare me. Master of Sports management and master of project management. It's a combined course. I'm very hardworking. But paying 15k dollars, and preparing to pay another one after some months is crazy. And there are three semesters. That 15k is just for one. She was saying getting a job is by God's grace. After spending such money? I'd rather open a shop in Lagos with that money or buy land sef. Cus what she said wasn't encouraging at all. And again, after paying my fees, obviously account would have gone empty, would I be asked to show my account balance for them to be sure I'll be able to pay the rest? Cus trust me, after paying this one like this, shinshin no go dey inside account again. I just hope it's going to be worth it. Or do you think I should apply into another school. Are all the schools very expensive?

That course isn't on the PR list, huge red flag, unless you want to go back to Naija after studies or marry an obese white woman grin. Plus you need 2 years of studies to get PR. Although Bond is a reputable uni, it is located in a suburb of Gold Coast and GC is mostly a tourist city with limited job opportunities. I always advise students to get admissions into unis in Sydney, you won't regret it as there are heaps of jobs here.

My sister who is in Norway registered my visa application online but along the line she made a mistake of the place where my international passport was issued instead of warri she entered Asaba. She could not correct it again since it's a minor error, God so kind I have not submitted the documents. My question is can vfsglobal office in Lagos be able to correct it without demanding for huge amount of money? Where are the travel experts, Has anyone experience this before pls share your experience thanks

It's up to you man. You can either proceed with what you have now or wait and apply to courses on the PR list in cities with good job opportunities, your choice.

I saw a post you made. Please how did you change from masters to nursing?

Good morning everyone, @Marcus asked enough questions similar to what I'm about to ask..

How visible will it be to pay subsequent tuition fee...All these huge tuitions are so scary and I'hv not seen any aussie university with a fair tuition, all of them are on the high side... No significant difference amongst them..

Is there anyone that has sponsored him/herself for subsequent tuition payment..
Very high figures...Don't want to be stranded after paying tuition for the first year....

Please can someone address the issue, I guess you guys understand the summary

I told my Uni that I wasn't happy studying the master's anymore after the first quarter (half of a semester), and they made me apply afresh for nursing.

I was only charged for half of the semester that I took classes, the remaining money was applied towards my nursing tuition fees.

The course you changed to, your school had it too right? Or you changed to a different school entirety? Is it possible to change to another school and another course
