How TO Unroot And Unbrick Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

Below are the procedures on how to unroot and unbrick Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and bring it back to complete factory settings. This guide is straight forward and just follow the steps and your phone will be back to original settings just like the day you first bought it.

Unroot/Unbricking the Galaxy Note Edge will:

Remove any custom ROMS
Remove any custom Recovery (TWRP/CWM)
Restore your phone back to factory settings
Remove any and all signs of root
Unbrick your phone if it’s in a bootloop.
N/B: This will remove all information from your international storage, backup any important information!

Follow the guide below to unroot/unbrick the Galaxy Note Edge!

1. Enter into Download Mode. Power off your phone then press and hold the volume up, home button, and power button all the same time.

2. You will now see “Warning” on the screen. Press the volume up to continue.

3. Now the phone will show “Downloading…”

4. Plug in your phone via microUSB to your phone. Plug in the USB side directly into a USB 2.0 port.

5. Download Odin3_v3.10.6.zip and the correct stock firmware for your Galaxy Note Edge using the download links below.

Download Odin v3.10.6

Download Samsung Stock Firmware
6. Unzip both Odin3_v3.10.6.zip and the stock firmware that you downloaded in step 5. When you unzip the stock firmware it should now end in md5.
7. Open up Odin3 v3.10.6.exe and you should see a blue box on the left. If you don”t then download and install Samsung USB drivers and restart your computer.
8. Click on “AP” and locate the md5 stock firmware file you unzipped in step 6.
9. Odin may show “Not Responding”, just wait until it goes away!
10. Click on “Start” and Odin will start to flash the stock Samsung firmware on your Galaxy Note Edge. This can take up to 10 minutes, be patient!
11. The Galaxy Edge will now automatically restart with Samsung stock firmware flashed but, we’re not done yet.
12. Completely power off your phone, then press and hold the volume up, home button, and power button all at the same time. Keep holding until you see small blue text on the screen.
13. Move down to “wipe data/factory reset” and then select “Yes — delete all user data”.
14. Now select “wipe cache partition”.
15. Lastly, select “reboot system now”.

hello Gigs,

i used odin to flash a samsung tab e phone (SM-t561), but it stalk at the samsung logo during booting...
pls whats the way out.
