It's about the most exciting experience ever as Christian students in UNIBEN under a unified and recognized body (CCC-CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY ON CAMPUS) came out in their numbers to
Commemorate our democracy
Pray for the New leadership
And Pray for Nigeria.

The program was tagged "democracy day walk" which attracted the presence of the Dean of students Prof Osagiede, the chairman of CCC Pst Uti Uchenna, Presidents of many Christian fellowships on campus and other dignitaries

It is worthy of note that the school is currently on break. However report has it that so many students actually forfeited their holidays while those who traveled took it upon themselves to return before this very day. This sure is passion for Nigeria.

One of the motivation behind this walk was said to be the believe by the students that if our fathers have eaten sour grapes and left our teeth on edge a positive attitude can help repair their mistakes even as we avoid the same sour grape and see a future for Nigeria. A future we can walk towards.

The students walked and chanted "Our generation shall praise your name" with a great company from the campus to the Benin-Lagos express way back to school.

This is one of those rare times when students gather not to say struggle continues but to enthrone God over this country. It was glorious. And I'm happy I was part of this great move of God.

If Christianity must play its role in the society it has to break the the church door and let its voice be heard in the larger society.

#we love Nigeria

And even when we fail to acknowledge our progress it doesn't rule out the fact that we are making good progress.
Just a step at a time.
