Bukola is undoubtedly Yoruba but the thief nubus will not want a political weight like him emerge, lest he decimates their influence in Yoruba land. The same episode was played with Mulikat.
But come to think of it, Bukky deserves the treatment for the following reasons
1. He & other PDP decampees pulled down their long standing house (PDP). They've bn used & dumped. Atiku was the first to be told the obvious, & now Bukky. Amaechi is next to be disappointed.
2. The sarakis have always described their father's house with a left hand. Only a bastard does that. They would rather affiliate with the fulanis rather than their Yoruba root. Good for you, Bukky.
3. Bukky is too ambitious, greedy & arrogant to work with Buhari & submit to the self-imposed national leader (thief nubu) should he emerge the SP.
These aside, he still stands a good chance of becoming the next SP if PDP makes good their promise of not fielding a candidate, because PDP senators will most likely vote saraki (one of their own) than vote for APC anointed candidate.
I smell a repeat of Tambuwal episode here. Watch it, Saraki may someday decamp to PDP as a sitting senate president.

BUHARI/NWC is wrong for using votes gotten from a zone to elect the SP... that's why PDP is well organized ---they shared positions to cover every zone...one more thing -they NW have 7 states while other have 6 except the SE with 5-so how do you justify the number of votes given the fact that the NW has 3 major cities in the north
