Not really, I think its just common sense not to get infected. Some people will click on any link online even if trojan is clearly written there.

so how do you think these peeps who come up with anti virus make money?? If they make good ones so where does the virus come from again. Its just a business and nobody wants to run out of it

Do you say terrorists and Anti terrorist squad work hand-in-hand? You should know that there are bad guys out there to mess things up so also good guys trying to counter them.

I was not ruling out other sources tho
but what I know for sure is those who manufacture weapons of war also manufacture the war so they can sell their products who would want a peaceful world when bombs and guns are a lucrative business

There is no scale yet to measure the best. once you have a LICENCED antivirus and is updated regularly u will have the best out of it.

Microsoft released a free antivirus software in September 2009 called Microsoft Security Essentials. It is FREE and VERY EFFECTIVE. The only perequisite is that you need to be running a genuine version of Windows for it to install and you need to update it once it's installed so it can become active.
