Okay guys. Back on beauty again......

I wrote a article some weeks back on the issue of "beauty". I was taking a pseudo-altruistic view because I wanted to be honest in the depths of the truth of "real beauty". The beauty that would make the world a better place.

This time we'll be looking at the nature of the beauty that we focus on - today, in the world.

Let's be honest. With these four people in the above pic, who do you think is "more beautiful" . Do you judge beauty by external appearance?Well most of us do. Be honest, you automatically judged the older ladies as ....beautiful....but 'wanting' didn't you? :| Chaiya.... So you're an ageist?

Ok, So.... I got a lot of responses for the article on which I wrote, ie "Beauty and the Beast" (If you haven't read it, you can open it by clicking on that blue link). Most of them came through on whatsapp or from people in everyday life. I really would like you guys to try and make more comments in this site however #sad_face. It's good for other people to know how others think and realize the alignment of their views with regards to the world around them, if it is the same or different, positive and negative. To show others a world outside their own or one similar to it. To the people who've made any effort on commenting, successful or not, I give my most heartfelt thanks to you. Y'all are downright AWESOME.

So a friend of mine showed me this pic below.

This is apparently the picture of the girlfriend of a Nigerian music artiste - Ice Prince.

He told me that I should forget what I'm saying on my previous blog article http://therealjamike..com/2015/02/beautyand-beast.html, that that's a picture of real** beauty. "The kind of girl that if you cheat on your girlfriend with her, even your gf will not blame you", he said

One of the commenters [some people prefer the more correct term 'commentators'] on the first article, an anonymous conmenter said "Bro forget that one,i vote for UKWU above the beauty inside"

Lol. I'm not even going to talk about that. But it's actually very true that we tend to focus more on the 'superficial aspects and points' of beauty than on the altruistic and ethereal kind.

Beauty as we see it, portrayed and understood, in the world that we live in, is a pragmatic kind of beauty. It is aesthetic and definingly substantive. The beauty one can see, touch and compare. The butt, the ........ etc . Yes - there are obviously some words I will NOT be using on this blog anytime soon. Y'see my parents read my blog too apparently #stone_face :| Beauty in the true conceptual nature is rarely ever recognized or appreciated. Another commenter 'Herbie' says that "Everyone says it but few pple act it, doesnt eliminate d truth in it tho."

That's true. Let's take a look at this picture below...

How many magazines or tv shows or videos would feature a roster of women with similar images as this and name it "Most beautiful women" ? It's cruel I know, but it's the truth. Nobody ever does it. And I wonder, in fact, if anyone truly ever will. Everyone keeps talking about beauty being on the 'inside', but how many of us truly put that criteria as a critical priority in our appreciation of everyday women?

It seems almost nobody really cares all too much about beauty on the 'inside' as much as they do on what they see outside. Honestly I remember when my sisters sternly warned me some years back to not even try to marry an ugly woman.

I understand what they meant however, no - they weren't asking that I marry an egocentric superficial pretty-obsessed girl, and it's one of the things that sticks with you no matter what you see in the future. The little voice in the back of your head that tells you to remember everyone's expectations of you. Not just what you're meant to look like but also what you're meant to seek out.

One of the problems many people seem to have is that of self-image. If it's not of their body then it's of their face. Their feet. Their hands. Height. Even their accent and 'walking step' . Beauty is body type and shape. Which are you? Beauty is now so all-encompassing. Beauty is everything. Every time. What we live in is a world that is so much more inherently focused on the instantaneous superficial presentation than on lasting deep-set enacting of the presence, character and action of beauty. There's nothing wrong with looking for a "pretty woman" or a "good-looking man". Just try to look for a pretty woman with a pretty heart, and a good-looking man with a good-feeling heart.

Let's make a world where people don't just beautiful their bodies, but try to beautify their minds and hearts also. ...
