Hardly possible. This is 13 years to independence! Are you saying there was no sort of civilization there then?

The Igbos were making great strides in education back then....covering up the gap between them and the SW.

(And if you mist recall....the first Nigerian VC of the University of Ibadan was.........an Igbo man. .Prof Kenneth Dike.).

And I am not Ibo by the way....or Yoruba.

More like most people back then did not have cars.

Road construction increased when the number of cars on the road went up. Simples.

(Nigeria did have a good railway system back then!)

You mean to tell me that back in 1947 the very proud Yellowbars had not discovered tar for roads?

Haha, yet here daily we're bombarded with boasts of how advanced the South West is.

You are a disgrace!

Do you realize other African citizens come unto this Forum.....yet you just come here to yarn nonsense and show your shallow-mindedness. If you have nothing positive to comment can't you just shut up and just read to earn some new knowledge, no matter how little!!!
Must you display the f00l that your are?

You do know there's a road called Bangays Way* in Kent, right? I'm assuming you read the Metro newspaper, since this was in the press recently... And technically, we can always complain about Welsh roads, since the Welsh are very fond of consonants. So please, carry this your mentality and throw it away.

*For those who might be interested, it was named after Frank Bangay, a parish councillor from that area.
