Buhari Boiling Over Yesterday's Fight - Ministerial List To Be Delayed Longer by Nobody: 7:17am On Jun 26, 2015


With the Senate announcing an adjournment till 21 July, President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list will have to be delayed for at least another four weeks or better still, till after the Ramadan festival.

The 7th Senate under Senator David Mark approved in early June, President Buhari’s request for 15 special advisers.

President Buhari had only appointed a special adviser on media and publicity out of the lot.

Of recent, he had blamed the crisis in the senate as part of the reasons for the delay in unveiling ministerial nominees.

Close sources told TheNews that Buhari was livid with rage over the disrespect accorded the ruling party on various positions to be filled in both chambers of the Nigerian legislature.

When they jumped ship to APC, it was not considered anti-party activity..... They were crowned the true progressives just to oust GEJ.

With the kind of politics APC played into office, there will be no end to this mess until after the next set of elections in 2019......... As such baba is rather boiling too early.

It makes no sense to say "with the senate announcing an adjournment till july 21, the presidents ministerial list will have to be delayed till then or till after Ramadan Festival"..This is very untrue. The president has the power to ask the lawmakers to meet when the need arises. if the ministerial list is ready even by next week, he can always ask them to meet over it.

I'm tired of believing this kind of news at first read. It has gotten to a point that news from our Nigerian journalists can no longer be trusted. Anyway, these legislators tussling everyday is seriously concerning. It's too early.

Buhari was never prepared for a 21st century Nigeria.The old order imposed him on us,so that the statusquo will be maintained!
The northern oligarchy conspired with their ever submissive 'bride' south-west,in other to get back power they so much believed is their birth right.....the mantra of 'change' is all about North,North,North and Northern interest. Southwest must learn to live with it and the accompanied perpetual servitude,their leaders sold out and now there is no need crying over spilled milk.

Which particular section of the constitution did he draw the power from?..., though the NASS can assemble at any date before the adjourned date for any emergency matter of National interest,does not mean that the President has the 'POWER'
