I will edit each post with their initiation bios 5. Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo Obasanjo was approached in the battle front in Biafra by a CIA agent operating under the guise of a US Military adviser. The US was concerned with the Nigerian Forces near total dependence on Russian Fire power during the Biafran war and was concerned that once the war was over Nigeria- Russian Military alliance will be solidly entrenched with the forbidding scenario of a Soviet Naval Base in the Gulf of Guinea. Preamble The then President of the United States had a sticky situation concerning Biafra after the US looked the other way in the Israeli-Arab 6 day war. Here was Kennedy who had a moral conviction to support Biafra but was afraid of sending the wrong message to their strategic energy supplier in Saudi Arabia. The last thing Kennedy wanted was to send a message to the Muslim Arab world that they where supporting a Christian Nation in their quest for independence from a Muslim dominated Country - an eerily similar situation with the Israeli cause. Kennedy refused to recognize Biafra for the sole purpose of not upsetting the Arab world. Kennedy, however refused to support the Nigerian side with much needed military fire power and the Nigerian govt turned to the Russians. After Kennedy's assassination, LBJ was keen on rebuilding economic and diplomatic ties with the Nigerian govt. A CIA agent was sent to establish ties with key commanders of the Nigerian Armed forces who where expected to consolidate power at the end of the conflict in order to secure oil blocs. Obasanjo was one among several officers who where approached. Obasanjo eventually became Head of State and his legacies are there for all to see. |

2 . Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Sanusi Lamido Sanusi needs no introduction. His meteoric rise has always been fraught with controversies from his early days as a radical founder member of the Muslim Student Society to his role in instigating sectarian riots during the Abacha regime to his acquaintances with Osama bin Laden in Sudan during his forced exile. Sanusi's enrollment began gradual over the years as the CIA played close attention to the gregarious young Prince in ABU Campus. Sanusi was introduced to the then US ambassador to Sudan by a Sudanese Professor during the New Year anniversary celebration which was held on the grounds of the US embassy in Khartoum. Sanusi was of great interest to the Americans given how he found himself in Sudan and his close affiliations to radical elements in and around Khartoum which included none other than Osama bin Laden who at that time was not considered a terrorist but a war hero in helping defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan. The news clipping above shows that Osama was not always considered a terrorist by the west. 2 B CONTD.... Need to go see what the Mrs is b1tching about 2 Likes |

Bluetooth2: Abiola was never one, although he might have turned down the offer. The CIA agent was the one that killed him. This list is misleading. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Bluetooth2: Since after the assassination of John F. Kennedy who threatened to break the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the 4 corners of the earth, the CIA had begun to operate independently of US Govt funding and Congressional inquiry. To become self sustainable meant unbridled freedom from public scrutiny since the only way to probe CIA activities is to follow the money trail. The CIA Chiefs in the 60's also knew that your average politicians only goal is to scurry votes and they will do anything for it, something at odds with the cold war doctrine of the CIA. To become self sustainable the CIA, decided to do what they do best which was to prop up corrupt right-wing despots in South America in exchange of helping the corrupt puppet stash his loot in offshore accounts. This offshore accounts is where the CIA funds their global covet operations. The model will be expanded and extended into Sub-Saharan Africa, SE Asia and the Middle-East. Over the years the CIA "Trust Fund" as I will like to call it has been expanded to include criminals, drug dealers and shoddy Business men like Abiola. The stooge or criminal is giving protection in exchange of funding the CIA "Trust Fund" account. When the stooge dies the money reverts back to the CIA. This is what I will describe as the "Vatican Model" where all monies and properties left by a deceased priest ends up back into the coffers of the Catholic church. This is why Abiola's children are paupers today. Another prime example is Mobutu Sese Seko whose stolen wealth in the billions is sitting in some Swiss vault till this day without it being returned back to the DRC or even his own family. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Bluetooth2: Perhaps, they didn't want his socialist idea in the capitalist world they were building. For all you know, Socialism was just his cover. They probably got a better asset and he became dispensable. Have you paused to wonder why Abiola who refused all manner of food and drink while incarcerated, accepted the offer of tea when presented by Susan Rice (a CIA agent). Surely, he would have believe a rescue plan was underway. Maybe he's not dead, he could be living out the rest of his life in some Witness Protection Program (with plastic surgery and new identity), while tears are shed freely for him. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Bluetooth2: How can Abiola be a Socialist? Abiola had always aligned with the northern Oligarch and he made his money as a very corrupt runnaway Capitalist who fleeced Nigeria with the help of western global corporations like ITT. 7 Likes 1 Share |

LeOstrich: This is why I asked you if a socialist can survived as an agent of the CIA. The same Abiola that wanted the west to pay reparation to Africa ? Tell me another story bro. With the circumstanes surrounding his death which happned just a week after Abacha's death, I will say Abiola was nothing but a victim of a CIA covert operation to silence a supposed would-be president that is unyielding towards the west. So why would you still say Abiola was a CIA agent ? 3 Likes |
