Should we attempt to base our judgement on the "spiritual or religious righteousness" of the act, I'd say there are a lot other "unrighteous" things we do as a people just as you mentioned and I see nowhere in the Bible where it is mentioned that incest is a lesser sin than homosexuality.

I think the last Assembly passed the law they did out of sheer redundancy. There are far more pressing issues to deal with but you would never see those nutcasses attempt to deal with them, such as enacting very strict and tough laws against corruption.

#1 Marriage is not a religious act at all, it is the state considering that two or more individuals are or have become one unit and are responsible for each other...the state can give said permission to religious people and sites like churches, mosques, Jedi temples, dudists,etc...

#4 Open display of homosexual acts doesn't make you gay...I remember my early Schooling and could tell you that back then people freely expressed themselves freely...I saw a great many gals being explicitly attracted to other gals and boys being attracted to boys....it's not the perverted "sex,sex,sex,sex" that everyone or most people routinely think these relationships are about....they actively care about themselves like another pair or couple would...and today I have a girlfriend...so why didn't my interaction with them unleash a "gay demon" on me?...

Can you kill your own family member if you found out he/she was attracted to the same-sex if nothing appears to "change him/her"?

#6 Why aren't people bothered with asexuals that do not even find sexuality appealing at all, nobody is screaming "death to asex" or "adam and eve,not adam alone"?....afterall most arguments people use against homosexuality can be used too for asexuals and it'll still be nonsensical...

Because something is atypical doesn't make it bad or sub-level...
