These are not the best of times for Ex-Gov. Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State. Those in the know squealed to us that the flamboyant politician left a lot of abandoned projects that gulfed billions of naira in the state and a huge debt burden that may consume the new governor, Udom Emmanuel. Insiders revealed that Ibom Tropicana entertainment Centre is today uncompleted but about N100 billion was spent on it by the former governor. Also, the International Conference Centre was proposed with 5000 seat capacity and billions of naira has been spent on the project and abandoned by Ex-Gov. Godswill Akpabio. All these Tinubu boy boys without work. How many uncompleted projects are there? Akpabios' was d best govt in d last 8yrs. Quality, quantity, time-value, innovation, speed, importance of his works sets him miles apart. Only BRF comes a distant second. |

Stop this mess before it consumes you! All projects has been paid for before he left. Also, Ibom Tropicana is done and would soon be opened. Also, AKS is not owing any of its worker a dime. APC should stop dreaming about AKS! Akpabio is and was a transormer! He can never be in trouble! |

sleekman: Don't mind the idiots. Yeye de smell. Every little and insignificant electronic media is being harnessed by the Akpabio haters, nee, Akwa Ibom haters to see how to smear the golden name and reputation HE, Distinguished Senator Chief Dr. Godswill Obot Akpabio has so deservedly earned for his miraculous uncommon transformation in the State. The man has completed more than 5 projects he inherited from his predecessor: Airport, Ibom Power Plant, 5 Star Hotel, etc, and has initiated and completed thousands of projects during his tenure. Is it just those two (though more than 70% completed) that have not been done with that he should be dragged in the mire?. Haters Haters Haters Be warned. |
