That's why sometimes its better not to broadcast things until you have secured it. The rejection is more painful and hard to deal with if you have many people looking up to you to grab the job.

Best thing, is just to chill and understand it is not the end of the world. Don't go broadcasting things when you dont have it yet. Also prepare your mind to expect either positive or negative response. Some people are way too optimistic during the recruitment process. Some even start planning, buying apparels, shoes, having a plan of how they would spend their proposed first salary etc while you haven't even gotten an offer. A small dose of optimism is good but too much would heighten your anxiety levels making you feel like a total failure if you don't get it at last.

Take it in a stride and move on. Life is 50/50. Either works in your favour or against you and that job wasn't your time.

The problem is that most employers do not give feedback, so job seekers has not idea on which areas to improve on. Secondly, some employers reject people for really stupid reasons, state of origin, tribe, religion, age, marital status etc and they can't tell you that in a feedback cos they know very well that they are wrong and that you could sue them.

Guess the best thing is to keep pressing on and hoping for the best

@op, i suspect u refering to one of the big 4 audit firms.....
its not always easy to overcome, u feel derailed most times.
its always sad wen u keep having all interviews negative andd u felt u strived hard during ur preparations...
frustration and success stories of ur colleagues can frustrate...
it takes a strong faith to overcome dis regret mails..
i just keep hammering on dis prayer point.."my success story should come quickoooo, i cant just wait". God would see us tru

All these for an unseccessful interview ... I'll just bone ... besides, I don't go for interviews.
