Abubakar Shekau: the eccentric leader of Boko Haram was allegedly killed by The Nigerian Military in Konduga, near Maiduguri, Borno State in 2014. Babuji Ya'ari: was arrested by Nigerian troops in Maiduguri, Borno State. He was heading the terrorists' intelligence cell. He also participated actively in the Boko Haram's abduction of schoolgirls from Chibok in 2014.

Habeeb Bama: Bama who was an ex-soldier was arrested in 2012 in his hideout in Yobe State after a gun battle between Boko Haram militants and security agents. Suspected to be the mastermind of bomblasts in Nigeria Police headquarters in Abuja on June 16, 2011; United Nations Abuja headquarters on August 26, 2011; and St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalla, Niger State on December 26, 2011.

Abu Mojahid: This Top Boko haram commander was killed in Algarno forest on 21st April 2015.

Suleiman Mohammed: Arrested in Farawa quarters, Kano alongside his wife. He was the operational commander of Boko haram.
