the 30a souer charger is messing up big time. it doesn't charge well again, its barely month and the new agm 200ah battery now last 30mins on a load of less than 100w. the charger makes a weird noise and turns green very quickly. pls I need atleast 20a smart charger to save the battery

Your battery cells might have maliciously gone bad .. Another deep cycle sealed battery which withstands reasonable psoc abuse is the hoppecke monoblocs. If budget is a problem, USA flooded is another nice option !

the battery is less than two months and its never been overcharged... the charger makes hissing sounding now and turns green really fast. I doubt if the battery is bad. no physical damage or bulge ... its doesnt even get warm during charging. I think the ups charger interfered with the souer charger feed back system and damaged the charger.


I have to get a new charger to charge first before concluding that a less than 2months old 200ah ba3 is bad. mind u, I bought up to six on d same day, only this one is misbehaving... other are still enjoying cos they ain't using dis kind of charger.

It charges well and it looks more robust and it is heavier than those other smart chargers like Suoer.

Hello, simply locate your DC multimeter be it fluke/uni T and test the charging current et volt for confirmation OK... Famicare you guys are all discussing about isn't an intelligent charger , its all in same group with einhell,absaar,Bosch etc and all grouped under transformer - rectifier based and has no sensitive PIC board to interact with 3-4 stages in charging process.. Yo Souer might be black and a lil bit inferior if u are on a 12v system , but my blue Suder has been working well in charging and intelligently floating(13.2v) batteries after bulk/boost charge(14.5v) stage .. See attached pic below;

I have the blue one 30amp ... I think the MOSFET is bad cos it hiss loudly during bulk charge and quickly drops to 10amp den the green light comes on..

mines working perfectly well too, theres another charger in the market that looks like souer , the 30amp is black in colour, mine is blue
