Since being sworn in as President, Muhamadu Buhari has been running a facade battle against Boko Haram Terrorists in the northeast.

The relocation of top military brass to the epicentre was meant to give credence to a committed fight to end the insurgency. But this is not the case as the President has given explicit order that before any major assault be taken he should first be briefed and the final order communicated to the front by him.

The situation is even more cumbersome for commanders in the frontlines as the whole war on Boko Haram has been handed over to Tchad with the establishment of a Central Commander in that Country as part of US conditions in supporting the war.

On the day Buhari ordered a full scale attack on a riverine community in Cross River on the guise of dislodging Pirates ( or is it Oil bunkerers or Militant base), Tchad announced it had bombed 5 boko haram camps. If you believe this you will believe anything.

What however is very clear is that Boko Haram has ramped up their attacks and with the President giving final commands from Aso Rock on when and how to engage Boko Haram the situation has demoralized the war effort.

Now why will Buhari deliberately abdicate central command to neighbouring Tchad on the request of the US and still hold back any major offensive against Boko Haram in the midst of increasing attacks by the group? The answer is simple and that is the Presidency has since come out to announce plans to negotiate with Boko Haram.

I wonder what exactly Buhari hopes to concede to Boko Haram. Is it to carve out a semi autonomous Islamic Caliphate in the Northeast? Or is it to release unconditionally all Boko members in custody and then roll out an a paid amnesties package?

The real reason for Buhari's deliberately lax attitude towards Boko Haram is to push for the amnesty program and then roll out a special reconstruction plan for the NE.

The problem is not if his plans are foiled in granting Boko Haram amnesty and rolling out a special 13% derivation package but is what Buhari will do in response to such objections.

Buhari is the President and all these nonsense Boko Haram is doing is just to push pressure for amnesty and throw away any suspicion for what exactly they where fighting for which was to see that power returns to the Muslim north.

Back to the military bombardment of a riverine community in Cross River; two weeks prior we heard of an attack on a coastal police post by suspected pirates or is it kidnappers where it was alleged that an 11 maan strong team stormed the station killing two police officers before carting our large cashe of arms. A small police post holding large cashe of arms is very hard to believe. When I read of this incidence I knew this was a false flag OPs and sooner or later more "militant" activity will follow but loe and behold Buhari gave the order to send helicopter gunships, gunboats and soldeirs to obliterate a peaceful community.

What I foresee is that once Buhari's amnesty package is rejected by all right thinking Nigerians, Boko Haram will begin to fizzle out and more false flag operations will be carried out in and around the Niger Delta from where Buhari will use this as an excuse to wage a full scale war.

Any call for negotiation with the Niger Delta Militants who will be forced to take up arms to defend their people from the Nigerian Armed Forces will fall on deaf ears and prominent northern figures will come out and state that " you (south) opposed any negotiation for Boko Haram why then should we negotiate with your terrorist".

We must be vigilante and ever ready to expose this jihad government who want to destroy us.
