doctokwus: It's not true that it won't yield any benefit, otherwise people won't be complaining of Northern dominated appointments of Buhari. These guys by virtue of their positions pave way for more of their people to get government jobs, appointments and contracts etc. A region without key representatives will be cut off from a lot of benefits in government. Even their bargaining power in terms of federal projects will be very low. |

Femolacaster: They actually gave one without a "deadline"! Ohaneze Ndigbo: The organisation said anybody threatening to harm Ekweremadu on account of the position he currently occupies should be ready to face the consequences as he enjoys the strong support of his people who are ready to defend him [/b]anytime and any day. The fools leading the Ohaneze Ndigbo have just rubbished the 'position and survivability' of Ekweremadu! It would have been better if they had KEPT QUIET and work "behind the scenes" to ensure that he is not removed. By saying the above and putting it as they did, they have: 1.) Affirmed that they are playing tribal politics 2.) Turned a federal Appointment into an "Ndigbo Appointment"! Senate Positions are Federal positions which require support across board. 3.) By canvassing on "ethnic/tribal ground", they have simply "openly" turned this into a "We Vs. Them", which is not what it is supposed to be. It should have been about "Justice, Democracy and fair-play" to all involved 4.) Shown that they have learned nothing from HISTORY and the previous election where we said it over and over again, that the Ibos dont have the NUMBERS to issue ultimatums or threaten anyone in the Nigerian state! 5.) By saying "we voted for PDP as a Tribe", Ohaneze has shown the much suspected "Herd Mentality" that have come to be the hallmark of Ibo-politics ...which by the way has never yielded any positive result in the last few decades, except anyone can convince me that an Igbo has sat on the Presidential seat of this nation in the last 40-years!... or will do so in the nearest foreseeable future, something even a minority tribe the Niger Delta has done! Despite all the noise of this Ohaneze Ndigbo, the question is WHAT WILL THEY DO or WHAT CAN THEY DO, IF EKWEREMADU IS FOUND GUILTY OF FORGERY AND FINALLY REMOVED? Are they going to cower in shame, as usual, licking their wounds in silence in the face of failure of another futile, needless and toothless Ultimatum, borne out of "engaging the mouth before putting the brain into gear"... a.k.a "Gra-Gra cum chest-beating"? Leave the West alone and tell your "criminal forger" to play by the rules.....The NASS is not Ariaria or Alaba market where your "forgery and imitation" reigns supreme! BTW: #SaiBaba is an Hausa-Language phrase akin to saying "Up Baba" or "Up Buhari". Dunno that one is still paining you people, .........nine months after! DBking: It is your lineage of Ibo people that have been enduring failure and shame, since 1967! Civil War - Surrender Produce President - Na to grovel and beg for Deputy Senate post only! Election - Always backing a losing Horse! Second Niger Bridge - Only in your Dreams! Ladipo Market - Demolished and nothing go happen .... otherwise we throw you'all into the Lagoon. Thing is, no one takes you Fl@tHeads seriously anymore. All you do is rant and issue useless ultimatums that you cant back-up on ebit. Useless, Gra-Gra, Chest-beating, shameless Eediots! Why is what is good for Tambuwal not good for Ekweremadu Leave Ekweremadu alone! You cant invent an offence for him just because you are not happy about his position |

I haven't seen anything wrong done by the ohaneze. If it concerns the North, the Arewa consultative forum will talk to defend their own. If it concerns the South West, the Afenifere will defend theirs too. So their utterances is as a result of the situation Nigeria finds itself. Tribalism can't be eradicated completely in Nigeria. So allow them to voice out. |
