feldido: Why should you have such complex because you think oyinbo don't like your culture or dress? Don't be surprised if they attract more tourists to their country than you wearing oyinbo dress. Prince Harry goes to that area regularly. How many times have you spotted him in Lagos, PH or Abuja? Tourist dollars are more important to our economy that copy cat oyinbo dressing. If we were serious about tourism, people will come to see Eyo, Atilogun, Argungu fishing, Igue Festival in Benin, Osogbo, New Yam, Durbars and other native festivals, not people dressed in suits in Lagos or Abuja. That can easily employ a million Nigerians in hospitality and related sectors. 7 Likes |

feldido: If them wear suit, you call dem slaves to the white man.. They stick to their native attire and you still have a problem. Abeg carry yourself go park for one corner. Their attire has got nothing to do with the issues they are there to address.. That is their heritage and they should not be ashamed to showcase it to the world. If the world does not like it, they can suck their Swazili Cucks. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Lordave: What's wrong with their attire? We are speaking English for the purpose of communication. If I spoke my native dialect and you spoke yours, then how would we understand each other? What has the traditional attire of the Swazili people got to do with language? It's inferiority complex that would make you consider their customary attire unsuitable for a meeting. The Saudis don't wear suits to these functions, Most West African leaders don't either. I see no issue with their attire, if anything, I give them props for daring to challenge the status quo. No man should be made to be ashamed of his tradition. 6 Likes |

feldido:u are the animal. what is formal? Does ur formal means westernisation of africans and their culture? Soon u will become gay because it has formalized. This is why some africans are still in mental slavery. U expect him to wear suit, can u change his colour as well? Suit is white culture and they are proud of it. We africans should be proud of ours. Have u seen obj on suit before? He is a proud african. 2 Likes |
Re: Check Out These Swaziland Representatives At A Meeting ( Photo) by Nobody: 1:04pm On Jul 08, 2015 |
jaybee3: The question is, who defines formal? "Formal" is a western social construct...where oyibo people define the rules for certain dressing and other social behaviours It is very ethnocentric for them to assume it should define formal for everyone, all the time People should be culturally relative Actually...the oyibo try to be...these days (inadequately so though...they meddle a lot, but I digress) The (certain) Africans persist in being "English" So so sad About women? The Swazi people ARE not ethnocentric in this case They know it may offend some cultures to have upper body naked women there...so they sent men... And after this, anyone who still has a problem with how the men look should put it in their pipe and smoke it! I looove the look (cold on their behalf though) 1 Like |
