I know we have a lot of genius and brilliant people in this place. Ok. This is my question. Why is it that phones like androids, ipad,ipod etc does not respond to other things like erazer, pen,plastic,metals etc but only to human fingers and body?

1. If d phone has a resistive touch screen...it will respond to any object dt touches it...pen..stylus..finger..biro..pencil..even broom stick...but if it has a capacitive touch screen..it will only respond to finger....u can read about capacitve and resistive touch screen......hmmm..clears throat..dts all...
