Labour leaders in Osun State have agreed to call off the six weeks’ strike they embarked upon over six month’s unpaid salaries. Sources close to the parley held today at the Oke-Fia Government House in Osogbo revealed that the labour movement decided to put off the strike after the state government has met substantial part of their demands. At the time of filling this report, the labour leaders led by Comrade Babatunde Jacob Adekomi were signing the agreement with the government on modalities of payment of the arrears of the salaries. Details shortly.

Suspend strike ke?, abi Raufu don go renew hm jazz over those workers & their leaders ni. You are yet to collect Jan-Jun salaries & you won succumb for Rauf's scam again.
You had better get the prodigal to pay all his salary & pension debts now that there's bail out & you still enjoy the sympathy of the whole nation. There may not be another bail out again oooo. The only MoU I expect you to be signing is (1) that he will first have to clear all the backlogs before you suspend the strike (2) that the rascal will not be paying a month's salary on the 54th-57th day again I.e. 25 days after the month has ended.
Aabo oro l'a n so f'omoluabi (half word is enough for the wise).
