What!! that dude must be joking, this guys are not militants that you can give amnesty, they want christians to come and serve their Allah by force, they want Sharia law, so giving them amnesty would mean we all convert to Islam, we all stop going to school, we start practicing sharia law,

God forbid, God punish them all

How do you give amnesty to a faceless terror group? What are they fighting for that is worthy of the amnesty -- islamization of Nigeria or creation of a Caliphate out of or within the Nigerian State?

The souls of the innocents murdered in cold blood by this group will never forgive this country, if we date give those blood thirst demons amnesty.

If Amnesty will stop the blood shed, let them go ahead. America's failed blueprint on terrorism shouldn't be our template.

To my Igbo and South South brothers; The plan to Islamize Nigeria is still on.
The Fulani's have succeed in getting power through the Yorubas' and they have been dump them (Yoruba)
The next target is the Igbos. (their plan is to go into partnership with the Igbos and marry their girls.
Then later the South South will be their next target. (their plan will be to give our radical boys money and shelter, jobs.

They have bought land for their own camp.
They now practice All night vigil
Evangelize. In order for Christianity to go down

Please be warned
Don't be deceive by the nature called POLITICS.

This Man is a Fool, The Northerner has ruled Nigeria for close to 30 years but all they can do is to acquire wealth for themselves instead of them to give there people Education rather they throw them into the street rear cow. Now they have turn to BH and this Gov said we should grant them Amnesty, if I may ask Amnesty for what ?

Amnesty for a job well done.

They wanted to distract from the economic progress that Nigeria was making.

Or have we already forgotten how some people promised to make Nigeria ungovernable if they did not get their way?

Niger Delta gave Nigerians crude oil for 53 years (from 1957 - 2010) before they were given amnesty.

What have Bokoharam given to Nigeria for them to deserve amnesty?

What is wrong in what shettimma advocated? I am not going to make reference to our ND militants (though it's almost the same) but on using wisdom and diplomacy. In solving crisis, we are taught to use "carrot and stick approach". If we really want this bh thing to end, then we should protect ppl who are ready to denounce BH. Remember many of these young boys and girls joined against their wish. And they ain't even protected by the government if they are lucky to leave or escape. Shettimma may be crazy but what he said was right
Re: Boko Haram: Shettima Insists On Amnesty As Church Escapes Bombing In Jos by omojeesu(m): 11:39am On Jul 13, 2015
Real terrorists and fanatics never accept amnesty. The real BHR will never accept amnesty and attacks will still continue after those 'forcefully conscripted' have been given amnesty.

Those given amnesty will not be save from both BHR and aggrieved Nigerians whose loved ones have been killed by BHR. Those accepting amnesty should not be trusted.

Governor, sir! You may mean well, but, i think your idea is not realistic. It is unfair and unjust on victims, their loved ones and communities affected by this despicable acts of terror. What do you have to say about the Chibok Girls? Killers will be given amnesty and rehabilitated with taxpayers money. That is double loss to us BECAUSE AMNESTY WONT STOP THE TERROR. God help us!
