So you don't charge me when I deposit more than N500,000 into my account, but you'll charge me when I withdraw more than N500,000 of my own money from my own account?

This is complete rubbish! These bank thieves are creating more unnecessary avenue to extort more money from Nigerians!
Re: Banks Start Penalizing Customers Who Withdraw "Excess" Cash by unmask: 3:05am On Jul 15, 2015
See people complaining.....question is why do you need to withdraw over 500k cash? when you can pay via POS or do a transfer....It cost money to print naira notes and due to the abuse Nigerians give to naira notes, cbn has to print a lot more than they should ordinarily.

the charge is 3% on the excess cash and like I said earlier, what do you need over 500k cash for?

It means they charged you 3% on excess of #20 000. Does it mean that #30 000 will be charged on #1 million.
Banks always looking for how to defraud people. Ole oshi.
