A federal court in Abuja has granted former Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, and his two sons, bail.

They are to be released from prison once the bail conditions are met.
Mr. Lamido and his sons are facing money laundering charges, brought against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

They were arraigned last week in Kano, and were later remanded pending their bail application hearing on September 28.

The Lamidos were however transferred secretly to Kuje prison in Abuja on Monday, ahead of a hearing Tuesday, after another judge was assigned to consider the bail application.

Details later.

Pls imagine say na common man Lamido be, shey dem go grant am bail

This isn't the CHANGE we are clamoring for and I know some people would have preferred TRANSFORMATION at this junction.

But let's wait, that CHANGE is coming soon...

I'm heart broken right now. What condition will be warranteed for a remanded prisoner to be transfered to another court just to be granted bail?! What is wrong?! Indeed the rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer.

May PMB's administration have these corporate robbers FRUSTRATED,
May their callous and dubious ambitions be forever TRUNCATED,
Till the economy of this great nation is adequately SANITIZED,
And a working Nigeria is convincingly INSTITUTED,
Then the plights of the Nigerians would be VINDICATED.
