I have been to my doctor and done some tests, I can not father a child. My wife and I are desperate to have a family and I have been considering donor sperm. Will people know that this is not in actual fact my biological child?

I know of someone who also got medical reports that he couldn't father a child. He and his wife moved to a different state and adopted a baby. Two years after they had their own biological kid. Only the couple's parents know the first child isn't theirs.

Do what you feel will make you and your wife happy and make sure you're totally prepared to love that child (or children) as your own if you decide to go through sperm bank or adoption.

Go for the donor sperm, artificial insemination, that way eye brows won't be raised, and ur wife can feel a little sense of fulfilment.

of course you can use a donor, no one else has to know except you and your wife. the resemblance shouldn't be an issue, that can always be explained away; lastly keep the faith, nothing is impossible. cheers

He did tests and the results were not favourable. With my little knowledge tests are used for diagnosis to reveal a problem and then treatment begins.

Change your doctor and go to a specialist that can offer fertility treatment

your doctor could be talking trash! confirm from 12 other doctors. if the diagnosis is consistent, adopt a child!
