Good...A youth putting his creative ability to use. Not some who live with their sisters, sleeping with girls in the same hose and suspecting their younger brother of using their condom. SMH! Lost Youths

Meanwhile read this...........

[b]143 millions lines are connected today in Nigeria, more than half of that are making use of the internet service on their Smartphones, PC's and Tablets. Almost all of that number use more than 1 gigabyte worth of data monthly. That is, the normal Johnny on the street probably spends an average of #2000 surfing the web every month and #24,000 yearly. The amount goes higher when you move up a level higher to you and me. What are we doing with the data? Just scrolling through pages, viewing pictures and videos or actually doing something that could boost our financial status.

While some people may argue that people just want to buy data to do these, i have no problem with that. But i am aware there is no man on the planet who is comfortable with where he is. Human wants are insatiable, thus the hunger for improvement in every sphere of human nature. If you are one of such persons who has gotten to that point where you just don't feel right being on a Trillion Dollar per month platform which is the internet and not even able to make a single dollar off it, then this is for you..

If this student has the necessary support, He'll be a big deal in that country.

What support from what government?

That of Borno state whose governor has four private jets while education is not provided for ALL children?

Moreover, he just needs to make competitive products not wait for a non-interested government to support when he also probably will not pay correct TAXES when he makes sales.

justirich:
3 – SENATOR ALI MODU SHERIFF
Like Kalu, Sheriff is also a former governor of Borno State. Now one of the most prominent politicians in Nigeria, Sheriff is also ahead of the pack with a total of four jets, as follows: GULFSTREAM G650, Dornier (he has/had three of this).

The problem with Nigeria is that there are not enough people trained to fix these panels, if not, I don't understand why there are no solar panels on every home in Nigeria. With the amount of sunlight received we should have more than 60% of our home electricity from the sunlight.

Do you depend on only the solar to boil your water? As for me it's Jamb Question. Simply ask Simi she will give you the reply.

Invent something new then we can talk.

I already know the sad situation of things. Most Nigerians (You included) are used to hoping on the government for everything and that's why when you saw Support, your mind immediately went to the government. I didn't particularly state government support there because I already know the sad state of things there. Now support could be from friends, family and society and it's not always about money. Could be words of encouragement, appreciation and recognition.

i am a science student, although he is creative but his invention isnt just it.
Its just like me connecting a water heater to a solar panel and call myself an inventor.
It shows inferiority complex.

I'm a science student too.
How do you know he just connected a water heater to a solar panel. You know we would really move forward as a country if start appreciating our own works. If it was a US student who did that, you wouldn't question the authenticity.

Good START.

The real problem with our so-called "inventions is they are not commercialised and more importantly not constantly revised and IMPROVED to make them sustainable and useful and competitive with their foreign equivalents.

shocked

So you can make a sensible comment like this?

Hmm...ok!
Cool! At least he invented something!

But as an Inventor, I'd like to ask him about the benefits of what he did? Who needs hot water on a sunny day?

Looking at it from another angle, it could be used as a water purifyer but at 75 degrees? I don't think the water is boiled enough to kill its germs.

But hey! Its a good one from the student, We start from somewhere and grow to become even better, but we have to tackle life problems with our inventions...that's what makes a good inventor.
wait a minute, were u encouraging this dude with ur write-up or otherwise?

Your comments, so contradictory!

This is not an invention, I remember a mech engr project group doing the exact same project 10 years ago when I graduated from FUTO.
