USA Welcomes Buhari With Half Red Carpet. niGERia living in the United States of America(USA) have expressed their anger to the US government over their use of half Red carpet in welcoming the President of niGERiaigeria, Maj Gen Muhammadu Buhari. They reasoned that Leaders of countries and Heads of Governments visiting the US are welcomed with Full Red carpet which is laid till the next entrance or exit point of the visiting leader. President Buhari and his official 33 and 89 aides/accompanying entourage arrived the US yesterday and will be due back to niGERia tomorrow. The three-day US visit by Buhari is projected to cost niGERian tax payers over N2.2billion. President Barrack Obama announced his next visit to Africa and regrettably, niGERia is not listed, meaning that the supposedly Buhari's visit which we thought will improve or strengthen the relationship with the US is a mere jamboree arranged by Mr David Axellrod, Obama's former Cmapiagn manager and APC campaign contractor. - niGERia deserves better!
